    beautiful things ensue

  • I don't understand why everyone is insisting this is a happy or upbeat song. To me it has a very melancholy tone.

  • um yeah if you people just looked to the right of the screen you can find out that there are 3 renditions of the same song...

and i love all 3 of them

  • @tallkid100 That guy's fucking with you. The song's by the Antlers. Hope that helps, I unfortunately have no idea what the title of the song is.

  • @MercuryClock it's called blank canvases-american express got a bunch of bands to do different renditions of the same song

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG!!!!!! I'VE BEEN ON ILIKE.COM ALLLLLL DAY

  • @tallkid100 It was probably written for the commercial, which means it will be very difficult to find apart from the video.

  • Better than Passion Pit. Passion Pits version sounds very similar to sleepyhead.. Due to that songs succsess.

  • i like passion pits version

  • A happy Antlers song? Whaaaaat?

  • @kenjikenjisons listen to "In the attic of the universe" it has some great happy antlers tunes!

  • @CarlosAVal3 I own that album and it's not quite that happy but yeah some of the songs are really upbeat

  • @kenjikenjisons You kidding me? Have you heard their first two albums? Tons of major-sounding tracks.

  • @jklitten "When commenting on the album, Silberman noted that the album was recorded at a low point in his life, when he was able to find comfort in his fascination with the universe. Silberman also noted that the album carries a theme of "religious misdirection", inspired by his own tendency to find the wrong solutions to his problems in life."

Excuse me for saying that an upbeat instrumental song is happier than an album about religious misdirection.

  • @kenjikenjisons Sure, In The Attic of the Universe isn't completely happy--I never said it was. But consider "The Universe is Going to Catch You". It's certainly fairly happy-sounding. However, I think their first album, Uprooted, is their most happy to date.

  • @jklitten But it's still fair to day that The Antlers is not a very happy band. Coming out with Hospice and then coming out with a song like this isn't a hugely predictable move, and that's the point I was trying to make in a silly comment I made three months ago that SOMEHOW started a Youtube comment fight.

  • @kenjikenjisons Haha. I think it's because it's the highest rated comment.
