I am terrified of this ride. Don't get me wrong, it's fun but it just scares me so much. It has all three of the things I am most terrified of: Elevators, heights, and falling. It really is a fun ride but it's too much for me. Plus I can't breathe on this ride.

@MrFunnyGuy83 dude... don't flip... this was my first ride that actually dropped me. But honestly If you are a thrill seeker, this has been suggested to me by staff when I was with the band backstage, to right as they are about to drop you from the highest point, look down and you cann watch yourself dropping. Another interesting thing about waiting in line. If you are near a door chart I think it's called, press against it and you will hear creaks and moans. It's fun and enjoy these tips.

When I was atleast 6 years old, after getting off of Indiana Jones, we walked staight to this ride. We were in the boiler room and I heard voices behind me...because we were near the wall. Anyways, I heard the little girls voice say: "Mama? Daddy? Where am I?! Help mee!" And ofcourse, being such a cry baby I was, I never let go of my moms hand the entire ride. Oh, and before your done reading this, don't go onto shaft #2. It's actually haunted. A child (toddler) unbuckled her seat belt and fell.

@LPSL17 The one in Disneyworld freaked me out because once it takes you into the main elevator shaft and is taking you up and dropping you at one point it stops for a brief second and in the corner, the little girl starts to materialize. That freaked me out, so yes, it is kind of scary at Disneyworld.

Fantastic ride. My daughter and I can't get enough of it. We have been fortunate enough to ride it with people who are loud and enjoy the ride. As the anticipation is building for the first drop we like to break in newbies by screaming before the elevator even moves. This tends to heighten their anticipation, gets the other riders wound up and makes that first drop more exilarating. I recommend everyone try this ride once, you will be hooked forever.

If you look around in the boiler room before you get on the ride, there are a lot of references to the original TZ TV show. Along one of the walls is the reference to the show where the little girl goes through her wall in her bedrooom and gets caught in space. In the show her dad used a chalk outline to find the portal. You can hear the girl crying behind the wall if you find the chalk out line. It is on a wall at the top of the metal stairs near the big boiler.
