I really liked angela anaconda but for me was more of the very end of the 90s into the 2000s, Arthur was good aswell. I thought barbar was dull when I was am kid, I used to watch the intro then just leave! Barney annoyed me, my little sister used to always watch that and it drove me crazy. Never heard of blinky bill.

Angela Anaconda,i know it but never really watched it,Art Attack was ok but i had way better craft ideas,Arthur was a good show& i loved the opening music sung by Ziggy Marley,Babar cartoon scared me with the elephant poaching scenes,never heard of Bananaman,Bananas in pajamas&Barney was for preschoolers,never heard of Blinki Bill or Brum,Captain planet WOW ,i had totally forgotten about that cartoon.I liked the positive message of recycling & respecting nature that show had.GO PLANET!

I do appreciate the sentiment, here. There's those people in their 50's/40's/30's, who also lament about the programmes they saw in their childhood/youth, who say that the more modern programmes aren't as good, etc., just as the children of today will be looking back in another 10 or 20 years time and saying exactly the same thing about the programmes that are shown today. It's called getting old, and a longing for a happier/ more simplistic life which we all enjoyed as a child.
