@janitor300 Don't ride based on sound. Ride based on the power you're getting. He definitely wasn't in highest gear there, probably more like 3rd or 4th tops.
hey i was just wondering about those clip ons. did u lower the bodywork down to get those to work. and do u like it that way and culd u send me a pic of those bars on the bike im wanting to get some too but need to see that way they look and need to talk to someone who has ridden with them on their bike thanks alot.
I have the '06 650R. For the fairing buzz - I removed all fairings, and placed thin weatherstripping between the fairing pieces, and it's pretty quiet now. Worth a shot guys. Buy the kind that has a sticky side to it so it's easy to put in there.

I've removed all my fairings and converted the bike into a naked streetfighter since this video. I'm pretty sure the later models have the fairing buzz fixed (2008 and up). But im not 100% on that.

Hey there, i got mine off ebay, you'll have to get on their and do a search since youtube wont let you post urls. Type in "Ninja 650r camera mount" or "Ninja camera mount". They are hand made and bolt right to the opening of the gas tank.
Pickin up my 650R Tuesday... Man I cant wait. It's going to be the first bike I'v ever owned. Anyway I'v been listening to exhausts for this bike and I have to say the pheonix sounds the best so far.
Same here sweet bike,I got lower handle bars the ones for the kawa 700, not clip ons,that really helps. I like to lean forwards a bit. I will play with mine for awhile then upgrade to a 1000. Just wanted to practice a bit first with a 600 range bike.But great bike loving it.

Fairing buzz on mine is all gone, the previous owner had the factory do it.

Nice bike. Exhaust sounds good too. I'll probably leave the stock exhaust on my 650R cause it's kinda expensive to change it.

nah man, i like to run the bike a little high simply to keep it in the power band, in this particular video i know i didn't get past 4th.
If i were cruising at 60 in 6th id say roughly 4500 rpms

I used to do this too until I had to fill up again after 100 miles. 30 miles to the gallon on a bike thats supposed to get 40-50 isn't very pleasing.

The camera shakes because of the way its mounted, the bracket is a little bit too long.
