this episode is definitely Nellie's and not Laura's!!Honestly, this "Laura&Almanzo" thing never interested me because I don't like Almanzo that much!This episode was really important for Nellie's character and shows how her love for Percival turned her from a mean girl with a very bad attitude to a polite young lady! :) AMAZING!!

He talked about it on "The Tonight Show" around the time it aired. His dad was Jewish, and his mom was Catholic. He had a complicated relationship with his mother and always wanted his dad to stand up to her. He talked about it in a lot of interviews, including the last article he did in _People_ before he died in 1991. He just "sweetened" the relationship on TV for Nellie and Percival.
