I'm actually using an emulator (psx disc not ISO) and FRAPs. I think there are some devices out there though that allow you to hook your video card into your tv and console or some junk and then record... try looking around the net.
You can use a capture card or a DVD recorder to record off your TV. Or you could use a Camcorder. However, don't do what I'm limited to and use a still camera unless it's all you have.

Better luck with an emulator. If you want PS2, use a camcorder. Capture cards have lag.
