  • @todd1789 I hope you're right. I guess only time will tell.

  • @smallies7834 Me too!

  • your pond will be fine that wouldnt take over ur pond

  • Them are stone cats/bullheads I fell bad for your pond. I hope it does ok

  • They probably are already in there. They are super common. As common as bluegills. They will reproduce in there with no problem. They are good to eat too... just small catfish. Try night fishing off the bottom with chicken liver or bologna

  • @MarkCox73 Cool! thanks for the info!!!

  • @MarkCox73 Cool! thanks for the info!!!

  • Oh I bet! I love swimming in lakes but sometimes its a little gross to step in and like sink in mud. I actually refuse to step in it most of the time. I find somebody to hold me. lmao

  • Wow you have a beautiful property! But why do you have a pool along with the lake? haha

  • @munchkin6016 Haha! Thanks for commenting. We used to swim in the lake but got tired of stepping in the mud.

  • yes sir those are bullheads. make good flathead bait. they can be eaten too but dont get real large widespread.

  • @RafaMacRafa. I havent seen any so I'm not sure if they survived.

  • have u seen any swimming around??(u think they survived?)

  • Wow, you really doomed your lake, unless you enjoy fishing for bullhead more than other species. Those fish stunt easy and not much else will eat them.

  • i had some, put them in a tank, next day they disinegrated! or they must of had gone under the panel by swimming down the airbubble tubeline, panel with rocks on top, bottom of panel is a space were its open. idk. but i just reember them chillen on the plastic leaves then they just disappeared the next day!

  • @OhMGeeFrogblast That woulda freaked me out too!

  • @OhMGeeFrogblast i woudve thot my sisters messing with my head

  • them are tonys..used mostly for catching trout and other river fish

  • @snakegod55 They are called bullheads. I catch them by hand all the time

  • You can also tell by the tails, channel cats have forked tails resembling a v, and those do not. I have cannel and bullhead cats in my lake. And from what I can tell from video, those are bullheads

  • @ETERNL8o1 Thanks for commenting.

  • Damn! I wish I had a lake in my backyard. But if it floods doesn't that pool get messed up??

  • @daniyellowjello The pool is too high on the hill for the water to get anywhere near it.

  • @brianmcdrummer Did you even put any in the lake? If you did, do you know if they survived?

  • @Pop12646Okami Yes we put them in the lake but I'm not sure if any of them survived.

  • Cute! :)

  • @fluffy123tim Glad you liked them! Thanks for commenting!

  • @buggyblah Cool, thanks for that info!

  • put a single flathead in there, because bullheads will multiply fast, but flatheads love munching on them, but only one flathead so that he doesn't eat everything

  • next time your out there can I buy one small bullhead off you? PLEZZ!

  • @africanclawedfrog I've only been there one time and I'm not sure when I'll be back. Check out my video titled "Bait Fishing in Illinois." It shows how they were caught.

  • @MaddenSucks Sorry I didn't reply to your post. I accidentally overlooked it. Champaign, IL? That's cool! I grew up in Springfield.

  • @epicchapnasty Sorry I didn't reply. I accidentally overlooked your post. Thanks for the info!

  • @95bangelo Ya that's what I've heard. Hopefully they were eaten soon after I put them in there. :)

  • @brianmcdrummer bullheads do make good feeder fish/bait, just introduce some large predators. with a good population of bullheads flathead catfish do great, with the size of your lake you could see fish over 50 LBs. bullheads do muddy up the water.

  • oooo that sucks make sure u harvest them cause they overpopulate fast

  • @natybou13 I just put them in the lake. After that I'm not sure how big they've gotten or what they've been eating.

  • do you still have the baby catfish and have they actually grown what u feed them reply back?

  • i got some of those post up a vid wen there big i got like more than 20 maybe 30 hope to see that video dude

  • @natybou13 I'd be surprised if they lived very long after we put them in the lake. But I guess it's possible. Only time will tell.

  • dont worry f you have walleye or any predator fish they will eat them

  • @brianmcdrummer the best thing to do is in the early summer take a cast net or screen net and walk the shallow parts or cast in the shallow and count the young basically that is what i follow in my lake i found that i have an access of big mouth perch and types of brim over predator fish.

  • @goldmaz23 Awesome thanks!

  • @brianmcdrummer yep i live to fish just google farm pond fish there is a lot of info

  • dont worry about the bullhead i have a few in my lake if you have some big channel or blue catfish they will eat them so it is ok and you can eat them too so good luck and all of my fish beside 100 blue cats that i put in was caught in the rivers and put in the lake just feed them and let them grow get some bait and have fun

  • @goldmaz23 Thanks for the info. To be honest I'm not sure what kind of cat fish we have in our lake. I guess only time will tell. Thanks again! :)

  • Nothing is wrong with bullheads, they are not pests. They don't get huge and they make a great meal for large catfish.

  • Bullheads, channel cat fish look skinnier

  • Springfield is not far from me going fishing in the am bullheads are pests

  • @raiderchristian4life Have fun fishing.

  • @Resdon111 Someone told me that there were so few fish introduced to the lake that the odds were they wouldn't survive. I guess over the next few years I'll see how true that is.

  • @brianmcdrummer yea those are baby flatheads. they have a really wide head and also the tail is like someone said below, not forked, its just one big paddle. channels have highly forked tails. you can also tell by how wide there heads are, they dont narrow down from the body like a channel, they stay just as wide as the body.

  • Ouch, accidental bullhead stock. Sucks man, say farewell to your lake as you know it.

  • @THECRAWFISH14 thanks for the info.

  • there flathead cats if you look ate the tailfins its like a paddle opposed to the channle cat wich has more of a forked tail

  • flathead bait.

  • It woulda been kinda cool to keep a couple of them in a large tank to watch them grow.

  • Dude cool but i would have put them I'm the pool and watched them grow

  • Ahh Man that was a bad Move...But $h!t happens...They will over populate you pond..But on the bright side you could charge some flathead and blue catfisherman for a bucket of bullheads for bait or something.

  • We put them in the lake.

  • I can't remember who told me these were channel catfish. Guess I shouldn't have taken their word for it.

  • @brianmcdrummer do u still have those

  • and the tails aren't forked they flat like a spatula. put a flathead in there, it'll take care of the bullheads for ya.

  • those are bullhaeds see because they are black

    channels are whiteish sliver color

  • those are bullheads.
