This is the Street fighter Alpha on the megadrive fighting games. Really solid gameplay on this definitely stand out.

well it was made a version for brazilian megadrive by tectoy called yu yu hakusho sunset riders with portuguese language... Brazilian megadrive is a true genesis with sinal colours changed to PAL-M. I believe that a unlocked "mod" genesis can easily run this one.

I remember reading about this as a kid. I wanted it to come to the States so bad. Sadly, no one here knew what Yu Yu Hakusho was.

Thankfully, Treasure used the fighting engine for Guardian Heroes on the Saturn.  At least that game got a worldwide release.

i had this game yo still got it cuz my bro was stationed in japan n he brung mad games back from there, was my fav fighting of all time, i used to play the little guy wit the blue fire stuff, i still remeber his A+B at the same time does that move they show for him in the beginning lol

Looks like a good game. Has a Fatal Fury feel with the player jumping from the background/foreground. Hate it when quality Japanesse titles don't get brought over here. Four fighters at once would be excellent fun with friends.
