I am not an American nor have been in America but I have to say that NASA's Human Space Program has inspired me as well. I am not an engineer, far from it, instead I worked hard for my studies in social sciences.
There's no doubt that NASA is a motivation for a lot of people.
I do support Neil Armstrong, NASA is to me a motivation for my studies. I may not be sure I am physically fit to achieve my goal as Test Pilot and an Astronaut, but I will try till I will be a hundred percent sure I will or I will not be able to sit in the cockpit of aircraft or spacecraft one day...
