this was the first country song I ever listened to...and thanks to a wonderfull ex-girlfriend Emily from Worcester,Ma she gave me the gift of country music....and many years later long after she moved on with her life...I continued to love country music.

Just wanted to say, Stacy, me and our daughter miss you and love you. The rain has come and gone, the storms have rolled past and the sun has shaded over, I hope you can find happiness with ur new love, our puddles,rivers,and lakes have dried up since theres no more rain.

Country is religious, but not overly, doesn't cuss, doens't talk about sex and drugs, it is either deep meanings or upbeat dance songs, it's perfect, and through I do venture into different genres, I will always have a homely feelings when I listen to country, this has to be one of my favorites.

@DragonWatcherChan You couldnt be more wrong my friend...there is alot a relgion in country...but listen to a country boy can survive - hank williams JR/Senior...and will kinda prove most the stuff you said false...Or listen to Johnny Cash...County was outlaw....and in some places still is. But more respect to you cause alot of religious words in county these days

I have always wanted to feel so special about someone. My ex and I had this song as ours, but we ended quite a while ago. We were different, though. We weren't like all those people who would be together and 'madly in love' one day and then hate each other the next because of an infidelity. It pisses me off that such a good thing was ruined. And now, I feel so alone. I cry myself to sleep every night listening to this song

There are hardly any derogatory or hurtful comments on most country songs, and i love that. Tim is REAL country. Beautiful country. I almost cry every time i hear his music. This song is so very touching and lovely. I am writing a book- which i hope seriously becomes a movie- and i want this song to be played in it. It is a love-tragedy type book. Anyways, this is an absolutely gorgeous song, one of my favorites, which is surprising because i normally only listen to rock. Tim McGraw <3

how come ONLY on the country songs, if you post a remotely gay or lesbian comment, saying you like country it will get thumbs down, people should just be happy there is still an interest in country music. As far as lyrics go, no other music can beat country.
