@NcicHit2 I never knew much about the group, except Barry, I think his name was, having drug and other problems, including being homeless at one point before he died. It is a shame. The group did some nice songs back in the day, like "Hair." They had happy, upbeat songs, but had sadness and tragedy in real life.
@dylanesque66 Bob and Barry both had tragic lives. I like the Cowsills as a group. Bob died in the NO flooding. I have a solo LP by Barry and I think it's good. I have grown over the years to really like their music. I was in the Sea Bees when their first big hit was released and got out about the time of Hair. Great videos of Hair up on the Tube.
i heard them on the stern show back in the 90s singing hair live . jesus ! it was killer . sung their asses of , especially the girls .
