  • Funeral doom death metal!

  • earlier i was ragin municipal waste, the exploited and black flag. then i came here for rjd2 an esoteric the hip hop artist...this shits dope but i cant get into the vomit vocals, so glad its more intstrumental

  • I came for Hip Hop's Esoteric but I fucking love this.

May both Hip Hop and Metal last forever.

  • listened to about 2 and a half minutes before i got confused and read the comments n realised this wasnt the rapper esoteric lol

  • @DJPandaSlapper ahha same

  • The intro reminds me of Earth's newest album, albeit faster.

Especially this song: Earth - Old Black > watch?v=buG8_LOgMOY

  • Magnifica esta musica!!

  • listening to the album now...

    such a work of art!!!!!

new album coming soon,...i cannot wait

  • this is not Esoteric the rapper its a metal band with the same name

  • I love metal and hip hop(underground of course). My favorite genres

  • @SuperPapiculo Amen. Just today I was singing some french rap(anonyme mort - furax barbarossa(shits insane). Got home listened to some classical hindustani(kaushiki chakrabarti - Pure album), and now I'm listening to Esoteric. You never know these days; its much easier now to branch out with the internet.

  • proof tht metal and hip/hop can coexist: brann dailor has been quoted as saying tht RZA is one of his biggest influences

  • A Masterpiece! The best funeral doom metal band

  • i dont like this new direction Esoteric is taking. It's like he sold out or sumthin -____-

  • The middle sounds like something out of Doom. Badass.

  • @SuperPapiculo dude.. it's like 90% who listen to mainstream.. otherwise underground wouldn't be underground

  • NOOOOOO! You cut out the second best solo of all time D:

  • im one of them. funny i was listening to Jedi Mind Tricks when i read your comment.

i really dont know what the fuck im doing here though, i think this song is horrible.

  • @SuperPapiculo Beiber gave you a reach around? WTF man?

  • i listen to death metal, thrash/speed, some black/speed metal and fucken also listen to underground hip-hop like ill bill, necro, immortal tech, vinnie paz, jedi mind tricks thats just some FUCK MAINSTREAM SHIT

  • @SuperPapiculo i listen to death metal, thrash/speed, some black/speed metal and fucken also listen to underground hip-hop like ill bill, necro, immortal tech, vinnie paz, jedi mind tricks thats just some FUCK MAINSTREAM SHIT

  • im trippin right now but i have a question was there little things blinking like eyes or was i seeing shit? cause if i was thats fuckin sweet!

  • @SuperPapiculo

true true. to prove your point - im a metalhead

  • This original song include one of the best guitar solo at 4:50, but u cut it... Anyhow, it's awesome.

  • I'd sample this

    Doom metal is too cool

  • Underground hip-hop is quite different from the modern mainstream artists that mix in rap and bass. Just read the wikipedia article on gangsta rap.

Anyways Esoteric is one of the best extreme doom bands around. I love their psychedelic approach to funeral doom.

  • @SuperPapiculo This is completely true, a lot of great artists/musicians are in Metal and Undergroung Hip-Hop, I for one am a fan of both.

  • would you hip hop faggots please fuck off?

  • @NigraHerder if you like the music, then listen to it and relax, that's what music is for. so what if some hip-hop fans are watching this video? you seem like the kind of people who would purposely go onto a hip-hop video to stir shit up. i listen to underground hip-hop,and i like some metal. what of it???

  • @NigraHerder shut the fuck up..its kids like you who are the reason metal-heads in my school have no friends

  • @flipskater1369 u mad son? learn how to use the internet and you wont have to stumble onto good music.

  • this is sick

  • doom metal is definitely amongst the most authentical genres in this scene if not the most;it proves for sure that good music is still out there;you can trust it's deeds no doubt;thank you for this upload;doom on\m/

  • @bloodyrockfire its certainly a genre that has withstood the test of time.

  • @SuperPapiculo amen on that

  • jesus fucking christ, for the second time I'm looking for a rapper and I find metal

btw canibus is a good rapper and canibus is a good death metal banda ;D

  • you destroyed the song, just as it builds up to the awesome part... POOF... why?

  • There is a hip hop artist called esoteric, he was in jedi mind tricks. Either way I love hip hop and metal so I'm not gonna bitch.

  • During the dreaming in this dimension we manifest in another dimension and during the dreaming in that other dimension we manifest in this one :D

What is your opinion about that?

  • 1 star.

  • man i fucking love hip hop and death metal.

  • This band captures the sound of evil so well...

  • jesus, I was lookin for a rapper and I find this

    lucky day Oo

  • Esoteric is a very much underrated rapper. If you want to read his words of wisdom on the subject of rapping and rapping technique, then check out the book, "How to Rap".

  • is this even a song?

  • Damn I thought this was MC Esoteric as well, but I love this too! Finding new music accidentally is like early Christmas...unless you do it on Christmas. A majority of underground hip hop lovers enjoy a very diverse mix of music, the mainstream is the cancer of our culture and it`s not fair that a lot of people focus and identify real hip-hop with that rap shit but that`s life... I`m sure people associate this with trailer trash white people but it`s got some good atmosphere to it, it`s music!

  • Shit i thot this was a song by MC esoteric haha

  • @krazyindian187 haha same i got 2 minutes in

  • pfff

  • Damn this is awesome! Somehow I think this music would fit perfectly with a spaghetti western :) Especially the first couple of minutes.

  • This is haunting, alien, takes me to an entire new unexplored state of mind, beautiful.

  • this songs sounds make me think of the zerg from star craft for some reason.

  • Superb Funeral Doom, one of the best bands around... What an atmosphere!!!

  • Almost sounds like something that'd appear on Silent Hill (this is a huge compliment)

  • i like the conversations i see here, it's good to be open minded and respect other genres of music... all of them have something to offer, and thank god for pop. without pop, we'd have a bunch of hussy metal fans. pop keeps them contained haha. i apologize for the bit oh hypocrisy in that last statement

  • i thought this was emcee esoteric from 7les, army of the pharaohs, the demigodz, east coast advengers...not metal...but its cool i dont hate it...UNDERGROUND HIP-HOP.....

  • i discovered 7l and esoteric the other way around, but both are sick artists

  • Hahah, that's cool, someone who listens to hip hop, that appreciates a metal song! You're one of a kind lol.

  • I have to agree being of one of the people who does like both. Just because they are polar opposite doesn't mean that a person who likes Hip Hop, Actually hates Metal.

  • Are you black?

  • Yeah...Why?

  • Just curious, mostly it's black people who listen to hip hop that hate metal, don't know why. But anyways, respect mate ;) It's still a bit weird though, a black person listening to metal, i don't mean that racist.... but it's like a white guy into the hip hop thing you know....

  • Please...Race don't mean shit in my point...In the end were all dust anyways...So Let's just enjoy MUSIC...To Me Genre don't mean shit...I find something special in each Genre I listen to...Well...Except for pop...

  • @MrKennyWilliams Could I aggree more with you? Possibly not! When I was 12-15 yars-anything else but metal had value 2 me...but that was a teen-age "thing", and fair enough. But It`s sad when adults are stucked unto the the same; haven`t one single genre added since...kindergarden?

  • @Metaldude1945 Decent metal - not that typical excuse - "I like metal. I like nothing else matters"

  • @Metaldude1945 i listen to metal like acid bath, soilent green, eyehategod ect and i listen to jedi mind tricks, immortal technique, and this. not that uncommon is it lol

  • @Metaldude1945 Are you stupid? I listen to trash metal, and underground hip hop. I know atleast 5 friends in my school that does the same. So you are totally wrong.

  • @xaultimateax Uhm, i will not lower myself to the level of scolding, but i do know a lot of metalheads, but they don't particularly listen to rap too. So i still think it's still pretty unique.

  • @xaultimateax He isn't stupid, is more like nobody knows and care about you

  • @darkdrageon Alright.

  • @Metaldude1945 i do lol

  • @Metaldude1945 You'd be surprised. I am a rapper and I love underground hip hop and I also love listening to this kinda music. Underground rap fans and Metal fans aren't ignorant or brainwashed like the rest of society.

  • @d0zi7 i agree with laceratedballs and dozi7 i love metal, and i also like undergroup rap, such as esham,

  • @Metaldude1945 I like metal and rap music but the favourite is psytrance. What does that make me?

  • @MrTsallery Two of a kind?

  • @Metaldude1945 I listen to metal and hip hop, as well as other types of rock too :/

  • @Metaldude1945 i listen to metal, 70s rock, hip hop, reggae, trance, punk, psychodelic ambient and bunch of other stuff. even more i love all of these genres

  • @Metaldude1945 why cannot u appreciate a good metal song if you like hip hop?

I mean probably SuperPapiculo got to this song because he was looking for some Esoteric and 7L songs like me

  • Yeah I thought that too.

  • the first minute and a half are fuckin cool

  • regarder bien il y a le systeme de fabucci le colimacon est cela

  • Awesome

  • I met the bassist Anthony Diale at a bar last night. We smoked a bowl outside and talked metal for a bit. Fucking cool guy!

  • To Wintersun1977: You're absolutely right...

why this part ending to fast?

  • Fabulous

  • ...

  • At 1.55 why did you make that cut? The best part of the song was just about to start...

  • I had to make it less than 10 minutes, so I cut out that part. My favourite is the beginning and the ending.

  • Why didn't you just set your profile to a director's account? I did and I have an 11 minute video on my profile, I've seen some approaching 30 before.

  • yea its a little bit ranodm.. too bad youtube can't let you upload the whole thing

  • scary

  • der death-doom sound zerschmetter ja einen direkt

  • Häh?

  • Esoteric is .... band ?

  • yaya

  • oh my god this like this generations version of "dark side of the moon" very nice

    *click 9 stars*

  • No, "The Pernicious Enigma" is this generation's Dark Side Of The Moon. That album is ten times better than this one.

  • Indeed. The Pernicious Enigma and Epistemological Despondency are their best albums.

  • I think this one was very good, Caucus Of Mind is an incredible mix of violence anf doom, but Lamented Despondency form E.D. will always be their best song, form me.

  • interesting

  • Brilliant, but where's the 2nd half? =(

  • Victorinox99

When these two niggaz 7L & Esoteric just jerk off until 1996 (where they shitted up the first nigga single)

    Esoteric from UK released

"Esoteric Emotions - The Death of Ignorance" demo, 1993

    "Epistemological Despondency" double CD

So shut up and listen to niggaz

  • UNREAL is the only way I can describe these guys. They are one of the very few bands that actually get better with each release.

  • Metal Master, Long time since their las effort, but what an album¡¡¡

  • Yeah i was looking for Esoteric the rapper.

But this stuff is pretty sick, i can get down with it since my first musical choice is crust/doom metal

  • Sort of a funny story behind the entire "The Manicale Vale" album for me. I was walking home from work one day with my zune on. I had just got the album and not had a chance to listen yet. So as I was walking home I began listening for the first time. It was really dark out at the time and the atmosphere was so fucking prefect for the music that I ended up going into somewhat of a trance and taking a bunch of detours through foresty areas until disc 1 was over. My parents were worried lol.

  • Oh my I lol'd.

I don't think these guys 'steal' names of 'real rappers'.

  • Esoteric the band is much more known than Esoteric the rapper.

  • Hard to judge I think... From a metalheads perspective it -feels- like the band is more well known, 'cause the kind of people you associate with and discuss music with have likely heard them, whereas they might not know the rapper. Then to some underground hip-hop heads, they might have all the people they're around usually know the rapper, but not the band. The band has certainly been around longer tho as far as I know. I do think Jedi Mind Tricks is more well known overall than Esoteric tho

  • the reason I mention JMT is because it is the most well-known rap crew that Esoteric has been associated with; The others like 7L/Apathy, etc. are probably a bit less known than the band Esoteric.

  • Hmmm... actually when I made that post I wasn't aware that Esoteric the rapper was associated with an act (or multiple), so I was just judging from his solo stuff. It seems Esoteric the rapper is more known than Esoteric the band from an objective point of view. Although Esoteric the band have contributed to the genre they play enormously and are giants in that particular genre, it is still too underground to be appealing to the masses unlike underground hip-hop which is still more accessible.

  • Aye, I can agree with that for sure. :) If we look at what Esoteric is to funey doom versus what Esoteric is to rap, the doom act is clearly 'bigger' within its respective field, but for sure yeah - there are a lot more educated underground hip-hop fans than there are funeral doom heads without a doubt as like you said, despite being underground it's still a lot more accessible (rap).

  • @SodomyUndLust you're right they didn't. but esoteric is a dope "real" rapper in that its actual lyrical hiphop not this garbage on the radio. that being said THIS song is bad ass i just found this by accident. the vocals are insane

  • @SodomyUndLust the definition of esoteric is "only understond by an elite group that only few would understand " so i dont think they stole the name from a rapper

  • The two formed in the same year, retard.

  • You just a small nigga-imbecile, da ya hear me, basta?

  • Nigga, this great doom band was formed in 1992.

Even if you living in UK, you are just nigga, cause you have nigga soul

  • lol. Do you really think you know just any doom metal band? offcourse you haven't heard of these guys.

  • Lol. I like how you try and descredit him without any evidence (not saying you're wrong) but then make a claim of selling nearly a million copies without backing it up either. Maybe if you count all of the albums he's been featured on including JMT shit... (jointly) but Solo he hasn't sold close to that. And if you do it jointly, if you branch out for every band every member of Esoteric has played in, they're much more well known too.

  • Comment removed

  • I really like their songs!!! It's not just music...

  • Very beautiful... But that sublime song lasts 20 minutes, not only 8 !!! Please upload the full track !!

  • i love this band already

but sadly i have no albums, and all of them sound great.
