ANG GALING! STILL REMEMBER WE PLAYED THIS SONG IN A BAND ( WE CALL IT COMBO BEFORE ) WE BACK 1973 WHEN I WAS A FIRST YEAR HIGH SCHOOL. WHAT A NICE PIECE, NICE GROOVE UNTIL NOW STILL SING THIS SONG...
Real muscians...real bands...no lip-synching, no flashing lights and background dancers and auto-tune. Back then it was amazing. Now it's almost impossible.
One of the best drummers of all time!! I first heard this (the 21 minute LP version) thanks to my Dad back in the 70s. I've listened a million times and its still one of my all time favorite songs!! Amazing skill at all instruments.
I love Rare Earth. They are the only group that take any 3min. song and stretch it out to 20 min. Songs like Get Ready, Im Losing You and What I Say.
As child I was forced to listen to Get Ready in the back of my dad's car. Thesedays, some 40 years later, I still listen to the song, however no force is involved: it has become a standard...in my car, as part of my work-out routine, at the beach, in the Dolomites, on the road in the USA. You name it and it's there!!!
rock impresionante, cada quien su epoca pero lo que si, que en el presente de esto no hay. los manas, los jaguares, etc, etc, no serian ni cargadores de instrumentos de esta raza de los 70s
This music is unbeaten! Peter Rivera is gloriously awesome as ever. I celebrated Nigeria's 1996 Olympic Cup victory with it and Warri was aglo that night thanks to Rare Earth. So rare and awesome!
esta rola es lo maximo, tenia 10 años cuando la escuche la primera vez y hasta la fecha no me canso de oirla, gracias Tierra Extraña, en Mexico los seguimos escuchando.
this was from "Dick Clark's Golden Greats" back in the late 80s. That was a cool show; I think I still have all the episodes on VHS somewhere. And yes, Pete Rivera rocks!
one of alltime favs...

I love Bongos McNasty; reminds me of 'Animal' on the Muppets Show in the 80s when he'd do his drum solos.

Nirvana compared to this sucks. The only way Nirvana is worth something is when compared to Jonas "Crappy" Brothers

Pete Rivera is awesome. Check out the wicked double bass thunder after 3:15 or 3:20 or so. Badass.
