  • @jongreek Thanks a lot buddy! yeah this song has my favorite ever since I could walk, my 12 year old nephew who's playing the lead in our video would also like me to tell you how much he enjoyed your rendition of this all time and forever classic!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Keep on keepin on Jon!- Los Lingos (robby)

  • dont like it at all i think it sounded bad

  • @MrImpala03 Oh, well. Ya can't please every one. Thanks fer listenin anyway.

  • Was about to leave when you said it wasn't over yet, very nice improv

    cheers

  • @GrampaTbird Thanks. I love this song.

  • It's a nice version, I really like how you play it. I'm not sure about how that distortion and reverb sounds, it covers up some of the simple fingering that makes this song sound so heavenly. I think your interpretation would shine through a little more without it...but what do I know, I'm not a musician.

  • Very insightful comments, gotham23us. I try to put my own stamp on covers, and I thought the delay and distortion sounded fun and different. Thanks for taking the time to post!

  • dude im goona cover this song now that was awsome keep it up

  • Thanks, man. Will do. Did you post your version of this tune--let me know--I'd like to check it out.

  • Hmm that looping station could be very handy. Sorry for posting additional comments, I just thought of something else to add lol.

Anyway, it's cool yeah. That delay sounds fantastic especially with the whammy bar. Somehow it sounds different from a guitar in a way... Nice sound when you slide your hand down the neck; sort of sounds like space-like... you know what I mean. Lol.

  • The Looping Station allows you to select a lot of different sampled percussion and drums, then raise or lower the tempo by tapping you foot on it. Of course, it records your guitar as well to make a composite track.

  • Sounds nice. I'll check that out thanks.

I'm so glad I found you on here :P

  • Lol Jon it sounded like you were calling him old XD

  • Well, that's his handle...

  • Wow I just realised. Our band hasn't got a drummer yet, but when we record our songs in the meantime, we could use the looping station for drums. That would rock.

    Expensive?

  • Quite a nice version with the improv

    keep up the good work

btw what are the chords on the backing track?

    thanks

  • Thanks, Grampa. Sorry it took so long to reply. Here are the chords: C, Am, Fm, G7 (x4) - turnaround transition chords to the bridge are C, F, C, C7

    Bridge: F, Fm, C, C7, C, F, Fm, G7, Ab7, G7, Ab7, G7
