Yeah. Because Lord knows, when talking quality, Dean is the name that comes to mind (/end sarcasm here). Dean's share of the market is small. Pimply-faced teenagers, mainly. Why? They equated "pointy" to "quality"; they exploited a dead man to make a buck, and would probably sell Dimebag Douchebags if they could find a market for it. I don't know one serious guitarist that owns a Dean. They are crap on a stick. Literally.
@MongoTheLloyd Did I give the impression I wanted to purchase a Dimebag model? I wanted to try the EVO series as it was in my price range. The place I was at didn't have them so I tried Laguna. Thanks for the comment!
@mcrue151 Tone is good, but would be more versatile if the pickups had coil splits. I believe this is available in more pricey models. Clean sound is not to tinny or bass heavy and distorted is beefy, crunchy and not woofy. Make sense? lol With EQing and time this guitar has a wide spectrum of enjoyable tones to be explored.

@production6666 Play a lot of different models and get what you can afford. Just because it's expensive doesn't means it's better or you'll like playing it. If it feels good in your hands, the hardware seems sturdy and it sounds good, I say get it!
