When you compare live versions, I can't tell who's version is best, this one is good. I grew up in Roswell New Mexico. Not far from Wink Texas where Roy came from, not far from Lubbock, of course, Buddy Holly, not far from Clovis where Buddy Holly recorded but also songs like Buddy Knox's Party Doll... but I don't know if a UFO crashed near Roswell.

You sound very good. I've tried a few of Roy's songs and it ain't easy. There's so much variation in the way he sings. You start in one key and then it changes and changes! First class tribute act. Well done.
