Grateful for this video but why the F%^k doesn't the manual provide these instructions for programming the frequencies! If you follow the manual it does not work.
Oh, okay...the "tag" is put on when you program the frequencies into memory. I'm just amazed how poorly the written instructions are that came with the radio. This video clarified what the written instructions didn't explain well. Even the shop that sold me the radio couldn't program it properly! That's pretty sad. Even after knowing how to program the radio after viewing this video, going back to read the factory instructions made not much sense?
This video should be included with every new IC-A6 radio! The written instructions are crap. I still haven't figured how to "TAG" the frequencies to be scanned? Following the instructions word for word doesn't do it?!

Yes, this is much easier than the manual. Hope that they do more so that everone can get the full potential of this equipment.
