My most beautiful movie is Baran. Love in its purest, unconditional and loveliest form. Mostly a silent movie, there's no exchange of dialogues between the girl and the guy. I liked them both, esp the guy, who is brutish, funny, determined, and a giving lover. It's a must watch if you want to know about Iran's culture, atmosphere, mostly to know the meaning of love. Majidi is an artist not a director, unlike any other I have known so far. Brilliant.

Director majid majidi has done beatifully ART work.. he is great in showing d realistics in movies like tamil director "BALA"... i dont know anything abt iran, iam frm india.. bt d constructions scencs where really realistic... brother its a gud work.. keep uploading movies like this!!!!

@jafferafatimi. You may be right to certain extent, most women of Iran may have better lives than women of pakistan or afghanistan or even India. But what you fail to understand is the situation of your country as a whole is like living in one huge prison, 90% of prison space belongs to the inmates and only 10% belongs to the prison guards, could you still call it having a better life?

You know i have watched this months earlier well now i think on only one questin: What happened after najaf's family moved to afghanistan. This is truely beautiful story.Did Lateef see baraan again and could they meet? one more thing i truely grew to love the land scape of the place were najaf's family lived. i think it borders china and/ or afghanistan. Anyways beautiful scenerey that was. Still wonder whose mazar it was where lateef stayed at night.
