i have a psp and a dsi, and i fully agree with minisinky, the psp was amazing when i first got it, but then it just got boring, i would so much rather play a dsi game than a psp game, and also psp games take themselves too seriously, it's like it's trying so hard to be liked by the teenagers and and the "cool kids" sometimes sacrificing their stories to add in curse words or other stupid things like that, while the dsi just tries it's hardest to be liked by everyone and still be entertaining
only dumbass little kids say ds is better than psp because ds has all of them pussy ass child games can you hack a ds and play nintendo 64 games on it no you can not so shut the fuck up bitch
I don't own either but if I were to buy one it'd be a DS. Can you just write out a list of awesome games available on PSP, and DS, and then a list of exclusive awesome PSP and DS games?
Honestly i think it comes down to personal choice, and right and wrong, better or worse depends on the person. I hope you don't think you change the opinion of anyone on the internet!!! :D
i use to be a nintendo fanboy but i find the ds childish
and most all the games i like on the ds are rpgs but on the psp i enjoy shooters to racing better than i would on my fat ds and im not impress with dsi
I just got a PSP a few months ago, I only have about 7 games because I can't really afford any more at this moment in time (There's at least 20 more I would love to buy)
Now I'm looking to buy a DSi soon and I researched a bit and there's around the same amount of DS games I'm looking to buy as the PSP
& I can't see myself treating it any different from my PSP-- buy a new game, beat it, stop playing till I get a new one.
It's just that there are some games that are only on PSP that I like, (to name a few I already own, Rachet and Clank, Gitaroo Man Lives, Patapon, Me & My Katamari) and there are some games that are only on DS that I like, to me it's just not about the console. :/
I don't think I'm really answering any questions here, but it's one of those "I'm just saying", y'know?
@glock: if that's all you need to do, why don't you do it?
It sounds a bit odd to me :/
Almost as if you can't do it...
As for me though, I'd like to point out three good psp puzzlers.
Loco roco
Patapon
Lumines
I'd like to say LBP but... yeah, it's a port. But it's best on psp. LBP is better on a handheld, or at least, feels more like it's where it needs to be.
that kind of kills the point. im not asking how many games youve played, im asking how many games are there. not everyone will play every game, because not every genre is for every gamer, but if a console is truly for the gamers out there, it has to have to ability to satify different tastes(obviuosly every taste wont always be met), i have no problem with someone finding games online to bring to the debate. as long as it has quality.
First of all, thank you for taking the time to making a video response. I hope to see videos from you that will provoke me to do the same. Now on to the response: GRAPHICS GRAPHICS GRAPHICS GRAPHICS,,,thats where its at. I love the PSP screen, its beautiful....to me its like carrying around a pocket sized flat screen hi def TV. I love it. That alone make the PSP better than DS to me. But since that is not enough for some of you, lets discuss the games: cont....
You asked people to mention at least 3 games in every category for the PSP. I refuse to do that. Anybody can just go to a gaming website and see for themselves what their options are when it comes to games. I for one only own a handful of titles and cannot begin tell you how good or bad every games are, let alone mention 3 in every category.
Socom = For a handheld game, 9 out of 10. Graphics are great. Game play is awesome. The game is challenging without making you want to give up. A must own if you have the PSP.
World Series of Poker: 9 out of 10. If you own the home console version, well...graphically and game wise, its the same game. Love poker. Hours of playtime on this one.
Ridge Racer: 6 out of 10. I have never been a real fan of Ridge Racer and I considered this handheld version to be a superficial attempt. Its fun when you link up wireless to an opponent and race each other.
Legends of Untold Storeis: 7 out of 10 Its a top view hack and slash RPG. I rarely finish a game to the end unless its a 8 or above rating but this one I found myself curious and finished it. Awesome graphics and sound.
Spiderman the movie = 8 out of 10 Oops..its not a game but I had to mention it since it came with the PSP. Good movie and the display on the PSP makes you feel like you are holding a movie theater in your hands. And put on those ear phones and oh my...the sound is like being in the theater.
These are old games and to be honest, I've been too busy to play the newer ones. But I can imagine that the games have gotten much better.
