See, back then you had to have real talent...like the late Bette Davis said in an interview, you had to be able to sing, dance, and act. Today, these so-called actors are "fly-by night" and "overnight" actors. I miss the 70s and growing up watching all the stars from the ds  1920s through the 1970s!!!!! LOVE this video! Blanche Devereaux is my favorite "Maneater" of all time. The scene with her popping Sophia's balloon is classic. :) Incidentally, the song works really well as accompaniment for Vivian's dance with the twins in that "Maude" episode.

Rue McClanahan was also in the movie "Out To Sea." She owned the ship where Herb (Jack Lemmon) and Gordon Charles (Walter Matthau) signed up as dance hosts. Funny scene where Matthau and McClanahan danced across the floor.
