Well I kinda liked your 50's and 60' lists. 70's was ok. Your 80's list was 50/50... Your 90's list was poorly put together.... But I'm not going to criticize this effort because we need to wait ten( maybe more) years to find out which songs were the "Satirway to Heaven," "Johny B Goode," " Smells Like teen Spirit," "Sweet Child of mine" songs of the previous decade.... @YNWAnr9 Saying Coldplay's not rock is like saying Foo Fighters aren't rock. Coldplay is a softened version of alternate rock. Being mellow and using silence and ambience to put your point across can be much more effective than a crazy guitar solo or a bash your parents punk song. Coldplay is managing to bring a soft feel to a musical age of bombast, and as a person who likes bombast (Dream Theater, White Stripes, Green Day) sometimes I need a break from it.
