  • I just ordered the non-oc version of this. Will there be any significant difference in performance?

  • @josh1303 if you bought and installed the card I think u would be dissapointed, everything in your current computer would bottleneck the crap out of the card, I would reccommend building a new computer with the new card, I'd reccommend keeping your current case, psu, and hard drive(s) and buying a new processor(I recommend the i5 2500k), 8gb DDR3 ram, and the new graphics card, and a new motherboard to support it all obviously

  • @Kindahuge @Kindahuge Yes overclocking yourself is cheaper and they are the same other than the over-clocking, unless you get the 448 core limited edition, but self-overclocking validates the warranty 99.9999% of the time, so if ur gunna overclock it itself wait a until you think you really need to so you know nothing will go wrong with the card

  • @jackal477 Assuming you don't had a super-tv with unreal resolutions, it would perform fine, 1920x1080 processing on a small screen and a large screen is no different because it's an equal resolution, so it'd perform exceptionally As its a very good gpu

  • @rk3yb0arD And an effing waste of money lol, building your own computer is so much better

  • @TommyDDoom If you are replacing the Gtx 560 ti with the 5770 DON'T! The 560 ti is way better than the 5770, but I'm assuming you said it wrong and you mean you want to replace the 5770 with the 560 ti, that would be a good idea of you want the better performance, iyou have to check ur computer cases size and psu wattage before getting though

  • can i replace this with my Gigabyte HD5770

  • can you overclock this even more?

  • @GoldenGamingHawk I was able to get the core a little higher to 975MHz stable.

  • what can it run....like how many fps on like....swtor shogun bf3 whatever

  • @Maztoldt i5-2500k and this card at 920MHz runs bf3 high around 60-80 and ultra at an average of 50

  • @skyboy123454321 kay thanks ^^

  • lol alien prebuilt is shit XD

  • Do you think i can replace my gtx 260 by this graphic card without having any problem?

  • @Elzakiel It would be a nice upgrade depending on what CPU you have.

  • @micger1785 i have an i7 860 i think...

  • @@jackai477 this card performs well on any tv o_O + this card is really good for games such as bf3 and mw3 :D

  • can anyone please tell me how well woud this graphic card perform on 37"lcd tv ful HD

  • Dude that is one hell of a sexy case Damn!!! I have the same card as well.

  • want the best Ti version in all points ? get this one !

  • Got the same card but the non OC version, so I OC it to 950/1900/2000 on Afterburner still idles at 31c. Never goes above 60c running crysis on very high.

  • wow that card was looking good o.O all of gigabytes cards looks ugly but this looks nice :P

  • so lame i just orderd two of these and they dont even come with an sli bridge

  • @WhiteGravey Yea, usually only motherboards come with SLI and Xfire bridges. Not the cards themselves.

  • @PCModderMike lucky me i never toss a box away i found my msi box with the sli bridge inside WOOOO havent upgraded since gtx 280....

  • Have you had any problems with the card, i plan on adding this to my gaming rig. If theres problems then i need to know:)

  • Sick rig, how well do you think that card would do in my current rig.

    Q6600 2.4ghz

    680I mobo

    4 gigs ddr2 800

    750 watt power supply

currently gtx 260 core 216 bf3 is hurting on low settings looking into this card.

  • For anyone with this card OR the Gigabyte reference clockspeed version, I'm curious - doesn't the OC (900mhz) come with the same exact sink/dual fan setup as the standard (822mhz) version? They appear the same from Newegg, so I would imagine buying cheaper and OC'ng myself isn't a bad way to go.

  • I have the same graphic card and I have a lot of problems, BF3 crash to desktop, BFBC 2, NFS Run also the same problem!

    Any suggestions? :/

  • @FranMcOd in bf3 downclock the core by 100 trust me it works i had the same problem, and the nfs run raise the voltage to 1025,you can do it with msi afterburner i done it myself and works great now,,this problems the crashing with this card is because it's factory overclocked and when you play games like bf3 and nfs run which are on new frostibite engine they max out your gpu when you are playing and then it crashes that's why you have to downclock your card or higer the core voltage.

  • NICE DUDE.. Perfect place to put expensive bare electronics.. on a cloth blanket.

  • @iNekoNaru NICE DUDE, smartass comments FTW! Seriously bud, it's totally fine. Really.

  • @PCModderMike Just saying. You should consider keeping static electricity away from expensive hardware? Common sense right there.

  • @iNekoNaru I appreciate your concern. But I've been doing this for years now both as a hobbie and professionally, and I have never run into any problems. Look around a little bit and I highly doubt you will find any conclusive evidence showing resting a graphics card, or any PCB for that matter with electronics on it, on cotton cloth will destroy it. Or even try looking for a specific example where someone broke a card all of the sudden by putting it on a blanket, you'll find nothing.

  • @iNekoNaru Yea of course you should keep static electricity away from any component that goes inside a computer, but blankets arent just constantly flowing with static electricity. I'm actually a lot more rough on systems at work, and still have had no problems. Not saying I'm wreckless, but you are really over reacting.

  • @PCModderMike Still, you should at least tell the viewers not to do it. Not everybody knows that static electricity can damage your hardware

  • @iNekoNaru If I was dropping the card on a wood floor, or rubbing it on a carpet floor, the yea, I would advise viewers "Hey don't do this, it's stupid". But the average computer user/gamer doesn't own a 50 dollar anti-static mat to "properly' handle their hardware. Millions of people have bought a card, or a motherboard, or a memory kit, and set it down on their bed or table while working on the computer before installing it...and it's been perfectly fine. I'm not gonna tell people not to do it

  • @iNekoNaru You're being very persistent, and honestly a little annoying. If you are truly so concerned about the well being of a fellow YouTuber who could potentially damage their graphics card from watching this video (yet there are thousands more, even from the likes of guys like Linus who handle cards the exact same way) I will add annotation in the video warning viewers to either ground themselves or discharge themselves before handling the card, or any other component.

  • @PCModderMike Dude, why do you take comments so seriously.. lol I'm just letting you know that your not being a very good role model for people that are new to this sort of thing.

  • @iNekoNaru Most people get serious when someone is rude to them. And I'm also serious because your claims are completely unjustified, at this point, I'm starting to think this is a never ending battle. I've seen your channel, and it has become clear to me that this sort of thing is common for you. Troll's get off on bickering like this, and I do have a life to attend to, so I'm sorry I can no longer play this game with you. There's nothing wrong with I'm doing.

  • @PCModderMike Holy shit dude calm down, I was never rude. lol your just making this simple suggestion to be a better reviewer into a big personal deal.

  • @iNekoNaru I am calm, I'm not cursing, I'm not using all caps rage, I'm not throwing exclamation points all round. Haha. Your initial comment was far from simple, it was rude and sarcastic, and you know it. You want to make a suggestion, go for it. YouTube is designed around that practice, that's why the commenting system exists. And I'm all for improving myself and channel, this video is getting old and I think I have become better on my new channel.

  • @iNekoNaru But if you want people to take your "suggestions" seriously, trying doing it without the smarty pants attitude. That's my suggestion for you. ;-)

  • @PCModderMike Whatever you say man. I'm not the one being a terrible reviewer.

  • @iNekoNaru See, just plain rude.

  • @PCModderMike I'm being rude now because your being just ridiculous.

  • @iNekoNaru No, now you're beyond rude and just being a prick. There is nothing ridiculous about me disagreeing with your so called "suggestion". You just keep repeating yourself, and I've tried to remain civil by giving you my reasons, even at one point offering to add annotation to the video, but you just insist on this constant bickering. Leave it alone dude. Is it you just get off on this kind of thing? You gotta find a real hobby dude, trolling will get you nowhere.

  • DEAD micger i hope ur reading this

i am a gamer to the hearth

but after so long my GPU is getting out of date

    found

GIGABYTE GV-N56GOC-1GI GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi)

on newegg aswell ? what are the payment methods and how long does it take

and is it worth it i might have to get new power aswell :S

  • which is better, this or msi twin frozr II? twin frozr III is too loud for me... is this faster than twin frozr II? or quiter or cooler?

  • I got the Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti OC. It's running at a clock core speed of 900 MHz.

This card runs at a really cool and quiet temperature, even under load. I used to use the GTX 275 SOC, and comparing that to this card, big difference.

Something to mention though. I had to bump up the core voltages just a little bit, to stabilize the card. Before I did this, I would get display driver crashes regularly using this new card. So by bumping up the voltage by a tiny bit, I managed to stabilize things.

  • my gtx 295 broke.. might have to get this... no money for 580

  • 4:08 I can tell you are really excited

  • Somebody went to ITT tech ;)

  • @jonesboyy93 Yep

  • hmm my Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti has 822MHz, could I overlock it to 900?

  • @TvojaStara1 Yes

  • how much wattage does this use?

  • Great video! but why do they have minihdmi and not hdmi?

  • i gonna set this in sli with my gtx 460 but i think it's the overclocked version

  • im getting this tomorrow to replace my 8800gt OC. This card will go in my q6600@2.4ghz intel core 2 quad. I hope it will perform well cause most people i asked said it will work great even with BF3.

  • the 560 gtx and Ti will be good for sometime if your running it on a lcd 1080p deal then in a while if the video game requires more oomph! get another one sli it price should come down quite a bit in about a year, i am just excited for a pci express 3.0 card comes along soon along with the 22nm ivy bridge cpu's from intel hehe

  • Will order this in few days :).

  • Is it a loud card when in games?

  • Comment removed

  • But doesnt GTX 295 have more CUDA cores than GTX 560? Or does GTX 560 have other stuff more important than that, which makes it better?

  • @firesanker Well, I was like you I suppose once, didn't know a great deal about these cards so I went and researched. Everything is important but one of the main things to look at when comparing cards is to my understanding the texture fill rate, and the bit rate, 192bit. 256bit, etc.. But in my opinion I personally believe that Nvidias processors (GPU's) are made of a higher standard. For example I have a GT320 (old, non gaming card) and it runs surprisingly well. Just thought I would mention.

  • @SpEaKeRfReAk123 Thanks for the help.

  • I wonder why a newer generation card outperforms a older generation card... hmmm

  • I think its plastic cause metal heats up alot faster than plastic and takes more time to cool.

  • i got Problems whits this Card...

  • Gigabyte Brands have good Core Clocks out of the box, but I'd still prefer the MSI products... Stability is excellent, a little low on the Core, but the Memory clock is a definite plus...

The equivalent is the MSI GTX 560 TI OC Twin Frozer 2

    Core 880

    Shader 1760

    Memory clock 4200

I'd prefer the higher memory clock out of the box because I can always OC the Core and shader easily without having voltage issues...

Still, the Gigabyte is a great buy like the MSI, ASUS, and EVGA... :D

  • your computer case is very cool? the brand?

  • nice case :) Have you done any overclocking of the 560 ti ? if so, how far ?

  • r u having any problems with it ?

  • @poisonblack83 No problems

  • @micger1785

    und jetzt probleme ?

  • @poisonblack83 i have this car and its on a 32" moniter and it can play all my games max out no porblem and no i have not hade aney problems

  • you admit to buying alienware? lol

  • does it run good?

  • i liked the white paint better ;)

  • @plutoguerra I like the blue paint better :D

  • i have ordered today that card! on tuesday ill have it yeahhh!

  • Why you replaced your GTX 295 with GTX 560 Ti.Wasnt GTX 295 better card for gaming?

  • @pericadex No GTX 295 was not better, even though it was a dual gpu card, it was very old. The GTX 295 also doesn't support DX11, the GTX 560 Ti does support DX11. Games that offer DX11 look very good, so I wanted a card that could run those games.

  • @micger1785 OK,I only have one more question, for example in Crysis, Which card of them has better FPS.

  • @pericadex GTX 560 Ti

  • @pericadex lol man you compare gtx 560 with 295 wtf!! gtx 560 is 2x better than 295 and has double fps on games

  • @NAVIGATORAS96 I would not totaly agree with you. Yes, GTX 560 is better then GTX 295 , it is a newer card and has much adventages, but GTX 295 doesn not have less fps in games than gtx 560, it can have only more or simular.

  • @pericadex Yes you're correct. The GTX 560 does have some advantages over the GTX 295, but no it does not offer double FPS in games. It's about the same.

  • Man! Very nice Unboxing video! Today bought this video card! You have awesome PC!!!!!

  • I wanted to go for a radeon this time(I have nvidia now) but I think that whit relase of 500 series graphic cart I can start loving Nvidia again!!!

  • your wrong the gx2 is also a double gpu card by nvidia.

  • can i play assassins creed brotherhood in 720p all settings maxed high??

  • @iTzMattyx I don't understand what you mean, how about telling me what kind of case you do you? Your PC, what is the brand?

  • Do you think that this card can run Battlefield 3 in maxium settings?

  • @weeq326 The Battlefield games are usually kind of demanding. It will probably run the game real good at 1920x1080 with details set to high...but when you start pushing the anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering high performance probably will suffer and frame rates will drop.

  • @micger1785 Ok, so I can play 1920x1080 smoothly, but what do you mean by anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering? What those are?

  • @micger1785 Ok, so I can play 1920x1080 smoothly, but what do you mean by anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering? What those are?

  • @micger1785 Ok, so I can play 1920x1080 smoothly, but what do you mean by anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering? What those are?

  • @weeq326

gtx 560ti can run crysis 2 on highest settings without problems and dice said that BF3 won't be as demanding as the crysis games during an interview. + Dice demonstrated the game on a SINGLE gtx580, that's saying something.

  • can this card run call of duty black ops in maxed out right?

  • @TheNikos321 This card can run Black Ops maxed out no problem.

  • @micger1785 thnx an i think can play all games maxed out aa the black ops how many fps can take in maxed out ?

    sorry for my bad english

  • @micger1785 thnx

  • @micger1785 thanks

  • @micger1785 which cooler/vga is better, the MSI's twin frozr II or the gigabyte windforce (2 fans)?

is it true that cooler VGAs perform better?

  • Nice unboxing, i loved it specially when you ALMOST said: nice plue bcb, almost :D

    Cheers bro

  • @zatoichizor Almost ;))

  • this card can play all games in maxed out .right?

  • @TheNikos321 It will play MOST games maxed out. The FPS on a game like Metro 2033 might be a little low with settings maxed out on this card.

  • @micger1785 ok thnx

  • Maybe I am misinformed but aren't you discharging static electricity onto the gfx?

  • @micnolmadtube Yes technically there is the potential to discharge static on the card, but the chances of serious damage are VERY slim. To be on the safe side I should be wearing a static wrist band when handling any kind of component inside of a computer. I work with computers for a living though and have never had any problems *knock on wood*, just got used to not wearing a strap because it gets in the way. But good point, I should set a better example by doing it right I guess :D

  • @micger1785 Hehe I always that wrist band to annoying. I always use a pair of MaxiFlex Ultimate's. They are thin enough for working on the pc and the skin can breath through the top side unlike the latex cloves. For me, a lim chance is a chance too much since it's my hardware ;)

  • And a fantastic unboxing :) Although, in regard to the 295 being nvidia's only 2GPU card, there was the 7900GX2, and the 9800GX2 :)

  • @vaguedustin Haha yes yes very true. Guess I should have worded that differently, kinda meant only "current" dual GPU card. I actually had a chance to work on a customers system just last week and he had a 9800GX2 in it, still running strong.

  • @vaguedustin Thank you btw!

  • Newegg Ftw.

  • just wondering..why not go with MSI?

  • @Alvitt0 I dunno, I didn't really consider them that's all. At the time I bought these, MSI has not yet released the Hawk edition 560, but if I was just now buying I would probably buy the MSI Hawk edition. These were cheaper though, but the quality is awesome and they have the same warranty as an MSI card. I now have two of these and they're overclocked to 975MHz, so I'm happy with them so far. Sorry was that TMI?? :D

  • @micger1785 . it wasn´t too much ;) I thought MSI had their twin frost on the market by th time you've brought yours. i asked because im realy divided between the MSI and the gigabybe (just the simple OC versions) , and was looking for some kind of advice. (i do love black PCB's more than other things xD ) and you have a blue theme going on your case you problably didn´t consider that at all. thanks by the way! =D

  • @Alvitt0 It's funny you said that about the pcbs, cuz I now have these in a completely different case with a black and red theme, so I guess it would be more appropriate to have an MSI card with a black pcb....you can see the build here.... youtu.be/GNy8Vms8xaI. The twin frzr was out when I got these, but it had less of an overclock and was more expensive.

  • @micger1785 True about the clock but i think msi cooling solution is the best, and the msi afterburner is fenomenal, i've watch your other rig and..one question... why go back to air cooling, i belive you had a H50?, i have one of those and i'ts amazing. thanks for you time =)

  • @Alvitt0 Yea I've heard it's a good cooler, so is this one. It's super quiet, even under load with two cards. Just personal preference I guess. And I guess you didn't know this, but you can use MSI afterburner with any card from any distributor, not just MSI. Since they are all the same reference chip, the software works even if you have a EVGA or Gigabyte card. I used MSI afterburner to achieve the 975MHz overclock.

  • @Alvitt0 And that wasn't an H50. It was the cooler that came with the Alienware from Dell, it's made by a company call Asetek. Although Asetek does partner with Corsair and even Antec to help design their water coolers, so they are really all the same. I think the cooler inside my Alienware was cheap compared one of the designs from Corsair. The pump and fan were obnoxiously loud, and it didn't keep temps very cool. I didn't wanna try water again, so I went to air.

  • How big is this card? Plz reply!

  • @TheNightshade001 It's about 8.25 inches long to the end of the pcb, and about 8.75 inches long to the end of the fan shroud.

  • Nice alienware, i got an alienware too take a look at my alienware on my acount.

    greetz

  • Hey man, thx for the unboxing. I got my Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti last friday and I'm really pleased with it. I'm using my old 250 GTX as a dedicated PhysX card as I had 2 extra PCI-E slots. Any chance that you have the same option?

  • @Lyrisius No unfortunately I did not have the same option on my Aurora, the motherboard is a micro-ATX and it only had two PCI-E slots. I liked this card so much, that I bought a second one to run them in SLI. But because it was a micro-ATX board with only two slots, I was worried the cards would suffocate and run hot right next to eachother. SO, I did a new build with a EVGA 3-way SLI board running them with a PCI-E slot in between for plenty of breathing room. I'll be uploading a new vid soon

  • @micger1785 I understand... well I'll be looking out for that new vid of yours. Good luck

  • @Lyrisius can u use ur 250gtx as dedicated anti aliasing card???

  • @sermerlin1 Maybe it's possible in theory but the only way to use the extra gpu is as a dedicated PhysX card.

The PhysX is a feature supported by Nvidia software. But I agree that it would be an awesome feature to be able to use it as a AA-card :)

  • @Lyrisius well its kind of silly to use such a powerful graphic card for just physX because only small amount of games support true physX... and other custom made physX suck and would use like 5% of ur GPU...

  • @sermerlin1 It may have been powerful but not when compared to this generation of cards. It does still handle well in games but trying to sell it after buying a GTX 560 Ti is a waste of time and money. You won't get much at all. That's why one would gain more to use it as a dedicated PhysX card that you use from time to time than to let it collect dust in a corner.

  • hei can this card go for 1 Ghz core clock runs stable

  • @evo5pro I haven't been able to get mine above 950 MHz on the core before I started to see bad artifacts. But every card is different and will respond differently to overclocking...there's a guy on here who says he has his at 1 GHz with no problems. But I've got two of these now in SLI, so I've kept them at stock clocks of 900 MHz.

  • @evo5pro ef you buy the super overclocked one....it's core clock is 1000MHz

  • @sonya2100 Actually not anymore...before the Gigabyte SOC edition was released to the public, it WAS supposed to have a 1000MHz core clock...but after having a lot of problems with it, it was released with a clock of only 950MHz. The card was not stable enough at 1000MHz.

  • cant wait till i get this card i should have it in 2-3days!!!!!!!!

  • @IXcrispyXI Awesome. You won't be disappointed.

  • @micger1785 what sort of temps have you been getting when gaming with it?

  • @IXcrispyXI It sits around 28-29 Celsius at idle, and the highest I've seen it get was 61 Celsius after benchmarking on it when the Heaven benchmark running over and over and over. But something like Black Ops it gets around 55 Celsius. I should point out that the Aurora doesn't have the best airflow, so if you have a better flowing case you might see lower temps than I do.

  • @micger1785 good 2 know :P yea i just got a stock case atm but some case fans to push n pull air and my gts 250 is just a hot card always has been highest ive seen it on furmark was around 88degrees so cant wait lol thanks for the info mate

  • @IXcrispyXI Haha no problem, sounds like my old gtx 295...the 200 series was a hot bunch. It would get into the mid 90's under intense gaming. Part of the reason I upgraded.

  • man.. this card out performs my old ati 5870 ( not by much ) in some games but... but i paid 440 dollars for my old 5870 a year ago lol i got pwnd! =P

I own this video card and i love it! tiger direct has it for 255 dollars including shipping.

I love it because it has the power to run modern games a 70+ fps and it is very very quiet! plus it consumes less power. btw: good review!

  • How do you like your Gigabyte 560 Ti? I'm enjoying mine very much.

  • @plexitone Me too, liking it very much. So much in fact, that a second one is coming on Monday so I can run them in SLI. Haha.

  • Great unboxing! Each video you do gets better and better. The blue looks good on that case... AND That's a nice card! Whens the other one coming? Can't wait to see the caparison to the GTX295 and some benchmarks. Keep up the good work!

  • nice card got the msi one myself hf with it :).

the case beats evryting though looks so sexy looking forward to the movie of it

  • @phaffnir255 Thanks! You got the Twin Frozr? I looked at the one too before buying the Gigabyte, very nice.
