I have been there many times and each time I get butterfies in my stomach. First time there, I crawled up to the edge. Way big vertigo going on. It's a beautiful, wonderful place on this earth. So untouched by humans. The skywalk I cannot imagine paying those types of fees and not getting any better view. Yes the canyon is beautiful from any place in it, but better, when it is free and open.
I was there more than 30 years ago with my old Buick Le Sabre. It is nice to see the place hasn't really changed. You tend to "inch" your way forward to see the view, as there are no railings. Not for people with a fear of heights, but if you can take it, it is well worth the effort getting there.
Ha ha, I love your reaction upon seeing this for the 1st time: "Holy shit...". I had the same feeling when I first saw it. I've been here many, many times and it is definitely the most stunning view from above that I've encountered.
If money is a slight to "non" issue, fly it. We spend from 9am til 5pm Door to door from the Wynn to GCW back to Wynn. Even got a trip via helicopter to the bottom and a raft trip.
I'm going there in 2 weeks--was it a mistake to not rent a four wheel drive???? I was gonna try to talk my traveling friends into the skywalk.........but read it was a ripoff....hmmm.
The last three miles of the dirt road are quite tricky, a 4x4 makes it better fun over the rocks. Start your journey early. The best view straight down into the canyon by far. Visited November 07. Brilliant.
never been to the grand canyon but i'm going in two weeks.great video,i will NOT be going to the skywalk thanks to the videos i've seen here.what a huge RIPPOFF!!.this place looks much better thanks for posting it.
Toroweap in on the North Rim, at the west end of the canyon. You can get there by way of 2 long-ass dirt roads, from either St.George, Utah; or Colorado City, Arizona! Figure on 3-4 hours of dirt, each way! Worth it, though!
LMFAO!

@JohnWesleyPowell You are 200% right any place in the Grand Canyon is better that the skywalk.
The skywalk is a rip-off. It is expensif to get into the park and you can't take any pictures when you are on the skywalk.
The indian show is as bad as it can be.
