I don't understand the judges obsession with this. It wasn't that great. I mean, the song was absolutely horrible. The dancing didn't seem to match up with the music at all. And why would it? The song, aside from not being a good "dancing song," was also cut up about a billion times. They looked like they were trying so hard to stay in sync with the song and they couldn't. Probably the least enjoyable one for me to watch. Also: Look at the guy's shoes. Ew.

I expected Anya to be proficcient since this is her training, but I LOVE how he melded the jive & his own style.

I think Anya looks very comfortable and natural. Then again, this is pretty much her field.

Unfortunately/fortunately for Danny, some of the choreography was made to accomodate him. The problem is that it just brings out his ballet side and less of his jive side (if any). I think he's a great dancer, just when he's doing another style he should convince people that he can do that style without having to be accomodated by pirouettes, etc. I did see that booty shake though...

They do that for every dancer, they tryto accomodate the dance for the dancer's particular style. It's not just him.

Anya was one of my favorite dancers before she was on the show. I've seen her compete in other competitions and she's always blown me away. I'm happy that she got Danny as opposed to another partner because he has excellent form in his dancing. I hope the at least make it to the top ten.
