They used to run this Ad in the Boston market when Southwest was trying to get people to fly from Manchester (NH) to Philadelphia. I think it left hundreds of thousands of New Englanders wondering why anyone would want to go to Philadelphia.

I was in Chicago once nearly 20 years ago, and four of their 15-second of their ads during breaks for WLS's "Eyewitness News" had a guy telling about SWA flying to (then) New Detroit City Airport. One ad was "as close as the crow flies." Another, "a stone coud be thrown at you." Another, "Hop, skip, and jump." The last, "A snake could crawl up and bite you." Funny as all heck!
