I completely agree with him. I'm not gonna lie, bowt 4-5 years ago I was addicted to Blink cus it was what I grew up with. Then they talked about descendents, screeching weasel, dag nasty and since then my love for "punk" has grown a huge deal. I personally think of blink as pop punk or an alternative rock band with punk roots.

I've got to be straight, I like Anti-flag and I still like the first 4 Green Day records. However, American Idiot is not a punk album, it's not even pop-punk, it's pop-rock. Anti-flag started off almost like a Street Punk band or Punk borderlining on hardcore band, some songs having a very Minor Threat feel to them. However, whereas Anti-flag's new stuff has got softer and is basically pop-punk, Green Day's went from pop-punk in the first place, to just straight up pop-rock.

okay i LOVE anti flag, but Blink started alot of change in music. Blink are a huge part of my life. He said punk was alot of diffrent things to alot of diffrent people and he is right. So his comment about Travis was a bit bias. I don't care about Travis, But Blink, i Do. Anti flag are one of the best bands around, I'v seen them a few time's now and really respect what they do.
