Really like this video. I couldn't agree more. You really hit home when you were talking about your friend not wanting to bring kids into this world. I feel like your friend does. But I also agree with what you say about getting involved with young people and trying to influence them in a positive direction. Keep up the great videos!
That's true, but neither should we have to listen to Muslim and atheist propaganda.
(I know you didn't say that i'm just making a point). And in my own beliefs, christianity, it makes humans more valuable. We are not a gods plaything, we have a relationship with Him. It is the ONLY religion that allows a direct relationship with god.
Not trying to be a perfect killjoy, or religious know it all, just thanking you for your smart and well worded comments and submitting my own beliefs.
Great video and message. Guidance had better be done when they are young, otherwise they have to correct themselves as adults. From personal experience, it can be done but it is painful and destructive to them and everyone around them.
Thanks to nutnfancy, sootch00, mrlockandload, and others for helping me truly understand what it means to be an American and how to fight for liberty!
One other thing: this is here and now. These historical discussions of whether religion or atheism has "killed more people" are absurd. People without a moral compass are mass murderers. And they have my contempt whether they believe in God or not. What matters to me is what people do.
I'm tired of citizens finding any and every possible reason to divide themselves from other citizens. This division is what allows our government to run amok.
People who try to stir up conflict between freedom-loving secular people and freedom-loving religious people do nothing but weaken the cause.
As an atheist I run into all sorts of insinuations and allegations about my character and motivations periodically (on YouTube) and I'm starting to get sick of it. I have no quarrel with anyone who believes in the rights of the individual and freedom of conscience.
If you have a quarrel with me because of my religious beliefs, that is truly sad.
Great video my friend with a solid message. Indeed the youth are our future and we can be good role models that may help to preserve our freedoms, instill a life-saving value system, and instill a sense of service in them. Our efforts here in YT may help that here and there. Great job Sootch! -Nutnfancy
@nutnfancy Thank you my friend. I know you're with me on this one. I hate I missed your call the other day. You are the man! Keep up the fight because we're bringing them to the light!
@sootch00 Hey sootch you mentioned Australia in your vid so i thought I'd say a big "g'day" from down here in Oz! Keep up the great work my friend, and don't lose hope in mankind! You and Nutnfancy have a lot of supporters down here who really appreciate the enlightened work you do so keep going, it will make a difference. Healthy happy family environment = healthy happy children. They are the future, simple as that, so lets make them an awesome future together. God bless the U.S.A.
I just wanted to say thank you for taking the "Time" and effort to invest in our greatest resource our children. For taking the responsibility of raising kids not just "Having" them.. If we had more parenting skills such as this we would not have half the trouble we have these days. I came along here by watching your bail out bag review of the L.A. bag. I tip my hat to you.
I am just now watching this video for the first time. This is a good one. One challenge we are dealing with now is the internet and technology. It is great but the youth of today are being handicapped by their computers. If they are not at school it seems they are always on their phones or computers. I think it has hampered their ability to communicate socially. The abbreviated world of the internet has become their new reality. This couples with the fact that we do not produce anything.
@Danboy5050 I was the only adult with about 12 kids. The guy was drunk, a redneck and had a bunch of drunk friends. There is a time to speak up.... this was not one of those times. Judgement is the better part of valor.
Already said so before, but I just watched it again and I can't say it enough - this is an awesome video - a review of a different sort, on the human condition, if you will... Sootch00, I'd like to post this on my Facebook page if you don't mind, because I believe as many people as possible need to see this.
Good work sootch00. I became a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) a year ago mentoring a 12 year old. To all you men out there look up BBBS if you want a simple way to get involved with a youth and help spread the message of this video.
Hey Sootch00 keep up the good work. Im a coming of this next generation and I not only agree with but believe in the American Spirit of rugged individualism and self reliance. Along with your message Id have to add that our generation needs to loose a sense of entitlement that the world owes us something. Our generation needs to learn that nothing, and I mean NOTHING is free, everything someone has payed for or will have to pay for wether someone one else recieves it free or not.
The biggest threat to our country is not teaching next generations what it is to be American. We've been allowing Satan to deceive us with lies, but we musn't allow him in. Part of this battle was very well addressed in your video. We must teach the kids around us AND people in our communities by planting seeds vocally (respectfully always of course) just out running errands or whatnot. We all have talents, so if verbal ain't someone's then they can find a way where they are talented. Seeds!
You have engaged in opposition against the tidal waves of the ocean. Do not let the people die because of the lack of knowledge. As you educate , be sure to tell them the truth of why they see what they see. You can no longer shelter them from the inevitable. You can , however , help them to find a rock to stand upon.
I agree with you Sootch. We need to take our minds of idiotic pop culture and get involved. There are way too many man-boys who don't grow up but instead live at home with mom and dad, play video games and never take on adult responsibility. Thank you for being a role model.
Your children are going to learn about life from someone. The question is, who is it going to be. It could be that drunk on the pier. Or maybe someone selling himself out for a few dollars. Its our responsibility to teach our children. Sootch is right about getting involved. Many kids have no one who really gives a damn about them. Maybe you could help them. Remember that no success in life makes up for failure in your home.
"The Battle of the Mind".... that's not teaching, that's more in the spirit of what's said about propaganda. Jesus never said he was in the battle for your soul. Only his followers came up with that. Lead by example. It's not a battle! And real freedom is the freedom for the kids to take a different path and be on their own process of discovery. They may yet teach US a few things along the way.
to follow and not morally rigid enough to make a lasting difference and positive change in society and the world, especially in the minds of the youth today.
"Many of you know I'm a Christian, but I'm not going there" Don't say that sootch, because that is exactly what America, Canada and the whole world needs on a personal, communal and national level. Jesus and the bible are the best moral compass anybody needs. It Brings peace and order to life and to the world to everyone. And it is the truth, the only truth people should live by. Every other religion out there has validity but they are not founded on solid moral ground. And they are fairly easy
@mikezamba My mission on this channel is to encourage men to take up a leadership mantle wherever they are and to be real men. The world has been tainted by Church going hypocrites and if I start Preaching at them, I'll lose a lot of people. While I agree with the basis of your comment, this is not my pulpit. You'd be amazed with the number of viewers that contact me with questions about my faith that would never darken the door of a church. That's my mission.
@sootch00 And your doing fine. The best way to reach those in the world for Christ, is by being a "light in the darkness". Not some wacko with a bull horn pointing out & screaming at sinners. No! Christ didnt give us bull horns. he gave us his word to live by. You live your life with kindness, love, compassion & People will see it and want what you have. They will ask, "why are you different & what makes you that way"? You answer with: "Jesus Christ". That is being the light in the darkness.
@jaydaddymc Thanks Brother. You hit the nail on the head. To lead others to a relationship with Christ, we have to have a relationship with them. You Rock! God Bless~
@sootch00 As Christians we must live the life and set the example first. By setting the example of how Christ has changed us, is how Christ changes the hearts of others. We don't need to be trying to force our faith. By force, only obscures the truth. And then we get called things like hypocrite. I have seen more people come to faith in Jesus Christ by the way I live, than I ever did pointing out sinners when I was a sinner just as much as they were. They need to see it before they can hear it
@gotthkid2 This is a prime example of what this video is all about.... This kid obviously has no direction or upbringing. This guy needs some guidance that threats and profanity are not a way to communicate effectively. We need to make a difference in kids like this before it's too late.
Dude, You need to take a deep breath and get around more positive people.
@gotthkid2 LOL, Good job in driving sootch's point in for a homerun, with bases loaded... And no one is judging you. That is God's call, not ours. no one on Earth has the authority to judge and condem another. Not me not sootch, No one. We are only trying to give people like you a big "heads up". And that is all. And if YOU choose not to listen to people like us, then that is YOUR choice. Our "heads up" to you has nothing to do with our opinions of you. Debate this with me. I dare you.
@gotthkid2 You need to rewatch the video. It's not about the bible or god or anyother "religious" thing its about teaching kids values. Self reliance, how to see what the right thing to do in a situation is not just following the crowd. Enjoy your emoness and should you want to become a man hit up sootch or nutnfancy find a decent rolemodel. Pick a direction, want to become a pro shooter? Go for it. Want to get into buisness for yourself? Find a mentor. Do something that makes you happy.
@sootch00 We spread Christ's message truly from the heart, both speaking and living the truth we will not gain friends, we will lose them, we will not gain supporters we will gain adversaries and enemies and brutal critics. People will shun us and persecute us in every way shape and form. But in the end God stands with us. And if God is with you then who is against you? Anyways I''ll stop now as I don't want to flood your page with statements that are off topic to a degree. Keep up the good work
@sootch00 Meh, depends on your beliefs I guess. I maintain an agnostic belief since the age 13 or so.
If he is out there, be it God, Allah, heck, even Zeus, then let my actions speak out. I will admit, religion isn't one of the favorite things that I like. The Bible as far as I am concerned was written by Man. Not God if he is indeed out there. Don't forget about the other sex either, they are just as equal in this capacity. But then again, I am a 90's kid, so what do I know? Probably not much.
@mspookie Actually it's not. What would you suggest then? And why is it that you mention the Bible only? Too scared to mention the Qu'ran, The Torah, The bhagavad gita, etc? If you disagree with Religion, organized or not, why only mention the Bible? Like I said in my earlier post "Every other religion out there has validity." Common moral lessons are found in all of them. As well as violence and other disturbing things (in all Books considered sacred). Don't single out the Christian holy book.
@mspookie the bible belt area of the states. We have a similar area in Canada, the Western part anyway. But why don't you like Christianity? Is it the Bible? The institutions (IE the Catholic Church (Vatican) and the Protestant Mega Churches). The people? (Faith Healers, Fundamentalists, Jehovah Witness's, etc). Are you solely against Christianity or are you against all forms of Organized Religion? Or are you against all Spiritual paths? (Paganism, Buddhism, Shamanism, Hinduism)?
@mikezamba dude why the FUCK do you think 9/11 happen to the twin towers in new york? releigion is what killed the people in that callapse of the twin towers......religion is BULLSHIT.
@gotthkid2 Ive heard this poor argument before, that religion is at fault for killing millions. Well why dont you look up a few of the numbers of these brutal religious murders. The Crusades between 1-2 million, the spanish inquisition around 4000 after about 400 years. 911's death toll 2995. Now lets look at the 20th century the rise of athiesm and a lack of religion led too. Adolf Hitler around 50 million, Stalins reign 20 million. Is it truly religion we should fear? Or Godless men?
@Jamon710 Hitler was not an atheist, that is a common misconception. In fact, Nazi anti-Semitism has its roots in Christianity--look up what a "pogrom" is, or read Martin Luther. And while Stalin had atheism as part of his goal of redistributing power (via Marx), it was not atheism that led him to his actions. Same for Mao. Atheism is simply a lack of belief in a supreme being. That's all.
@gotthkid2 Ive heard this poor argument before, that religion is at fault for killing millions. Well why dont you look up a few of the numbers of these brutal religious murders. @gotthkid2 Going spastic like this can be the result of any number of beliefs, of which religion are only one. Timothy McVeigh and his accomplices took down the Murrah building in Oklahoma City, killing I don't even remember how many innocent people because they thought it would start a revolution.
The Khmer Rouge in Cambodia were irreligious as far as I know and they engaged in genocide.
What do all of these have in common? Not religion, but a devaluation of civilization and human life.
sootch00, you are absolutely right that parents and familiesneed to be involved in the lives of these kids. They are our future! They will be tomorrow's pastors, presidents, senators, etc. The reason our kids are so messed up now is because we allowed the STATE and TELEVISION (now the internet) to raise our kids. It is time to step up and take our kids back while we can!
That hillbilly was inspired by beer and "Jackass"; however, people like him will always provide teachable moments. I don't know if you want to get into book reviews, but I recommend Gavin de Becker's books including _Protecting the Gift Keeping Children and Teenagers Safe (and Parents Sane)_. Generally, he's anti-gun but he's from NY and you write for your audience.
Thanks for a GREAT subject, Don, for such insightful commentary, and beyond that the experience you and your lovely wife have had in actually DOING it! Kudos to you both. Thanks for the wonderful examples :)
Good message Sootch. Parents need to be the ones to guide their chidren. Not the schools, sports or music celebrities. Be good parents and teach your kids the true history of America. Teach your kids to be good citizens, and to do what's right. And to value life for what it is, a brief gift to be respected and enjoyed.....Well done sir.
I was simply born in the wrong country. I eagerly await the day when I move to the U.S., but it's still a couple years off. Maybe then I can finally start to make a difference and work for a cause I've always believed in. I want to meet people who love life and the right to protect it as much as I do.
I've always believed that life is the most precious and important thing you have, and that you should do everything necessary to protect your life and the lives of others. I argue for the right to defend oneself and your fellow man, but nobody here listens. Hell, even my own family doesn't listen to me. Everybody in Canada has been molded to think they way the government wants them to. It's sad, really.
Damn Sootch, I wish I grew up with a guy like you in my neighborhood.
I really want to help people out and work for a good cause, but the country I live in doesn't support what I believe. I live in a country where 99% of people think that the 2nd amendment was the stupidest thing the U.S. ever did. Every form of self defence other than unarmed combat is illegal. And that's the problem; self defence is my cause.
Good man Don, I know what you mean, I have been working with the youth from my church for about 30 years, it great to make a difference and not money or worldly possession can compensate for the joy you feel when you sever other and help others, keep up the good work :-)
I strongly agree with this message. Keep it up Sootch! Great vid! The youth of today (including myself) will be the ones taking care of the generation in control tomorrow. Long live the Sootch00 project.~ xD
Great video! One of the most compelling video's i have seen on youtube. You are correct in saying that the children of the world are our future. Im not very old,but I have been a part of the boy scouts of America for most of my life, projects like this and youth groups are key. It kept me and others out of trouble. Seeing the younger people in my town are way different and going in the wrong direction. Its time we stand up and move our youth to a better direction. man kind is worth saving
you are sooo right! it was someone teaching me to shoot and gods mercy that saved me from a life of drugs and crime! This is what it will take to save America! We need more guys like sootch00 and nutnfancy paving the way and pointing the beacon on the banner that states our children are the reason America is worth saving!
It's good to see there are people out there that still have a high moral standard and are passing it along to the next generation. Around here, it seems like the only thing that is passed on to the next generation is their parents bad habits.
Great Video Sootch00! You hit the nail on the head with this one. I am a firm believer you have to be proactive and that being a positive example and giving back to kids can have an enormous effect. Keep it up, we need more people like you!
I am a teacher, 7th grade & I c what ur talking about. Even common sense is not something many parents pass along. I often say that kids r not just a by product of sex, but there r many out there that c them this way.
We think alot alike & I try to pass this along 2 many of my students, as do alot of other teachers I know but so much of our society, not just parents r teaching people 2 b this way. Much of the safety net needs 2 b removed
Sootch keep it up and keep reminding us whats important
I love your video's and the info you pass on, but this is one of your best messages. The blessings and benefits we have today are from our forefathers and will surely pass without the next generations cultivation. Keep up these thoughts Sootch!
I worked with Army Cadets (Canadian) from about twenty years up to a couple of years ago. I have watched these individuals grow and many followed my footsteps and join the forces and defended the rights of the oppressed. One of them went over to Iraq with the USMC and came back only to tell me that the only reason he survived was my voice in the back of his mind telling him how to survive. What a feeling! I can tell you it was well worth the effort of hours and hours of work to have one succeed
Kudos to you and Mrs Sootch for fighting! I for one know the battle; being a science teacher, studying Young Earth Creation and teaching it, and teaching others how to properly handle firearms.
BTW I picked up a S&W model 61 .22 LR pistol yesterday for $90. It's got a few scratches but still looks good.
ya its not like the Government is trying to build up the minds of children
in fact they are trying to dumb down them like they did to me when they put me on ADHD meds. May they burn in the deepest darkest pit hell has to offer.
6:35 damn that especially got to me. I can not stand people like that, I'd explode if I had been there. I would not care if they be drunk, eiter you kill it and eat it or you dont fish, at all, it is a basic f****g rule FFS!
thanks for sharing, even if it was a painful reminder. keep up the good work!
Sootch, I agree with you 100%. Passing our knowlegde and traditions on to the next generation is vital to the survival of our entire way of life. I recently took my cousin and his "little brother" (big brother program) shooting with my .22lr converted AR. I could tell how much he enjoyed it from the smile on his face; apparently when he got home his mother couldn't get him to stop talking about it! It has inspired me to become a "big brother" myself.
Sootch, I'm really glad you posted this video. So many people get disillusioned with the government we have in place and feel like there is no point being involved as it won't make a difference. In some ways, I can understand, as those in government often times are irresponsive to the citizens, and instead answer to special interest groups and those giving them "campaign donations." We need to fix our political system so that it truly represents the people. I love my parents, they are good
@wcropp1 people, but I feel like they do not completely grasp the importance of citizens being involved in a democracy. I try to encourage my sister to educate herself, have opinions, and to do her best to enourage others to do the same. Freedom isn't given to us by the government, but it is won and preserved by the people. When we let our guard down, there are always enemies, foreign and domestic, ready to place their fascist strangleholds on us. It is our duty to ensure they do not win. Thanks
Great job Sootch, you've got your head screwed on straight, I volenteer to the community and young poeple too, we are to day, they are tomarrow. I had my grandfather to teach & mentor me in the old school ways, mentoring is a lost art. young are full of knowledge, but with out a firm foundation and common sense they will be in trouble
One of the most amazing experiences of my life was to get involved with volunteering for a local charity and finding myself surrounded, not by people of my own age, but high school kids who volunteered because wanted to make a difference and loved giving of themselves. Talk about a real eye opener, and a humbling experience. Beautiful video, sootch!
Great points Sootch! I volunteer for my church's high school ministry as well, and have for the best 4 (going on 5). Kids are constantly bombarded by sexual images, and are not taught right and wrong anymore, they are taught that the world is in gray, and that there is NO black and white, but are taught "what is good for you is good for you, what is good for me is good for me..." Thanks Sootch for giving your time to these kids.
Kids need guidance more than anything nowadays. Without learning from us, they are raised by television and video games and programmed into little consumer debt machines.
I am a 17 year old living in the great state of Texas and I just wanted to say how good honest people like you and Nutnfancy have had an impact on my perception of things such as gun rights and survival techniques. Let me say that I am not the only kid my age who watches you or Nutn and that we can gain from your perspective. Your a good guy and the world could use more people like you and if people like you start to disappear, as will my generation and our nation will follow. Thanks
@TexasLegend93 I cant tell you how good it is to hear someone along with others your age say what you have said. Thank you for not being part of the "Doomed" generation. So...with you being in Tx and all wanna go shootin some time? :) just kidding, you probably live 8 hrs form me. LOL!
@TexasLegend93 lol, well good luck in Kansas. I left Texas one time when I was your age. Didnt like it much. so I came back. It took me 5 yrs. I was in the Coast Guard. Anyway, Good luck with Kansas. It is pretty on the eastern side of the state. big rolling hill covered with thick green grass or crops. Looks like the background on the set of the wizard of oz. You've probably seen it before, but that was just my first impression. take care.
@bufordcrabtree My responsibility was to the young people I had in my charge, not to confront some drunk dude and get in a possible fight for mistreating an animal. The Skate was not really harmed by that moron and began swimming soon after. I'm not a member of Green Peace or Save the Whales Foundation. I am more interested in helping people not to be like the Drunk Guy. I didn't like it either but I had a higher calling. Sorry.
@sootch00 Good response Don, Skates are REALLY tough, that thing probably didn't even feel it after a few minutes. You had to make sure that the drunk idiot didn't do anything stupid and possibly hurt one of the kids, thanks for watching out for the kids, they are the greatest gift given to us.
@sootch00 Thanks for responding to bufordcrabtree's post, Sootch. I wanted to say something but but didn't want to put words in your mouth. Well said and I think you handled the situation well. In any case, the truth is that skates aren't an endangered species and you are right that starting a fight over one is a stupid idea. Keep up the vids.
@sootch00 I agree with you, bud. Your role is to be the responsible adult. You lead by example by not being a drunk idiot (and not starting fights with drunk idiots). Kids (listen to me talk :P I'm only 22.) wont always listen to what you say, but will almost always mimic what they see you do, good or bad.
@bufordcrabtree Do you abandon your real friends this easily too? I'm not saying that hunting on a full stomach is ok but where do you draw the line??? Did you know that when you take a shower you kill billions of living organisms? Or what do you do if you have a roach infestation? Move out? It's interesting with us humans: if we see a homeless person with a dog, we feel sorry for the dog.
@bufordcrabtree lights8811 is right, and I hope Sootch's response isn't lost on you. Teaching kids is more important than fighting drunks over a fish.
@bufordcrabtree as much as these guys are idiots that thing was not harmed if your so darn passionate about stuff why don't you go raise hell at abortion clinic they kill millions of babys a year but people get bent on a fish. blows my mind.
Spot on Brother! The cancer to our youth's minds are computer video games, garbage television and a society of entitlement. Many but not all youth today in America have lost sight to what it means to work hard for something, to compete, to develop faith, to believe in moral values. Your comments should be made into a public service announcement, Bravo-Zulu Sootch!
Heyup glad I just came across your channel. Agree with this vid. I have developed a workshop retreat " Sourse Your Essence - Sense of Spirit", in brief - although we speak of spirituallity in essence we are human "beings". When we can sourse that sense of "being" our core essence, it enables us to centre/balance our mind & body creating a deeper sense of spirit of universal truth & well being within. It also enables us to see the through the BS manipulated by the potential NWO.
Good message, Scootch00. I try to involve my young son in my yard work and home improvement (there is a lot of it to do). But it is so hard to involve him -- he slows me down a lot and risks getting hurt. Any idea how to involve kids in a way that is helpful to them without preventing me getting my own necessary work done?
My dad taught me how to shoot when i was 11..since then im a devoted shooter and sportsman...i told alot of kids about it in school and they joined the sport ! about 12 kids !
Well said sootch. I refer to myself as an optimistic cynic, because I realize that the world is a bad place and that it is necessary to make the appropriate preperations to protect yourself, but at the same time I am always hopeful that things will get better. You can't just choose one side or the other. Hope is useless by itself but you can't just sign off either and say you won't do anything to help others. Thumbs up.
@AllfatherGuideUs seriously, what kind of music you listen too? music genres all have there goods and bad, drunken rednecks = death path, hip hop being a death path??, thats an opinion, which you are delighted to pernounce, but one that just shows your ignorance.

Great video and message. Guidance had better be done when they are young, otherwise they have to correct themselves as adults. From personal experience, it can be done but it is painful and destructive to them and everyone around them.

-Nutnfancy

And they are fairly easy
mikezamba 1 year ago
@mikezamba My mission on this channel is to encourage men to take up a leadership mantle wherever they are and to be real men. The world has been tainted by Church going hypocrites and if I start Preaching at them, I'll lose a lot of people. While I agree with the basis of your comment, this is not my pulpit. You'd be amazed with the number of viewers that contact me with questions about my faith that would never darken the door of a church. That's my mission.
sootch00 1 year ago 4

You Rock! God Bless~
sootch00 1 year ago

Dude, You need to take a deep breath and get around more positive people.
sootch00 1 year ago
@gotthkid2 There is no "bible thumping" in this video.
Infact, Sootch stated that he was not bringing christianity into the video, and that whatever you wanted to do, "you need to get involved".
rllang01 1 year ago
@gotthkid2 LOL, Good job in driving sootch's point in for a homerun, with bases loaded... And no one is judging you. That is God's call, not ours. no one on Earth has the authority to judge and condem another. Not me not sootch, No one. We are only trying to give people like you a big "heads up". And that is all. And if YOU choose not to listen to people like us, then that is YOUR choice. Our "heads up" to you has nothing to do with our opinions of you. Debate this with me. I dare you.
jaydaddymc 1 year ago
@gotthkid2 You need to rewatch the video. It's not about the bible or god or anyother "religious" thing its about teaching kids values. Self reliance, how to see what the right thing to do in a situation is not just following the crowd. Enjoy your emoness and should you want to become a man hit up sootch or nutnfancy find a decent rolemodel. Pick a direction, want to become a pro shooter? Go for it. Want to get into buisness for yourself? Find a mentor. Do something that makes you happy.

@mikezamba Actually the bible is a terrible book to look for morality in. It's appalling.
mspookie 1 year ago
@mspookie Actually it's not. What would you suggest then? And why is it that you mention the Bible only? Too scared to mention the Qu'ran, The Torah, The bhagavad gita, etc? If you disagree with Religion, organized or not, why only mention the Bible? Like I said in my earlier post "Every other religion out there has validity." Common moral lessons are found in all of them. As well as violence and other disturbing things (in all Books considered sacred). Don't single out the Christian holy book.

Jamon710 1 year ago
@Jamon710 Hitler was not an atheist, that is a common misconception. In fact, Nazi anti-Semitism has its roots in Christianity--look up what a "pogrom" is, or read Martin Luther. And while Stalin had atheism as part of his goal of redistributing power (via Marx), it was not atheism that led him to his actions. Same for Mao. Atheism is simply a lack of belief in a supreme being. That's all.

In some ways, I can understand, as those in government often times are irresponsive to the citizens, and instead answer to special interest groups and those giving them "campaign donations." We need to fix our political system so that it truly represents the people. I love my parents, they are good

Well said sootch. I refer to myself as an optimistic cynic, because I realize that the world is a bad place and that it is necessary to make the appropriate preperations to protect yourself, but at the same time I am always hopeful that things will get better. You can't just choose one side or the other. Hope is useless by itself but you can't just sign off either and say you won't do anything to help others. Thumbs up.

Both the hip hop and "drunken redneck" influences are dead paths.
AllfatherGuideUs 1 year ago 8
@AllfatherGuideUs seriously, what kind of music you listen too? music genres all have there goods and bad, drunken rednecks = death path, hip hop being a death path??, thats an opinion, which you are delighted to pernounce, but one that just shows your ignorance.
