I'm sure he was amazing well before he had an expensive guitar, and you can be too. It takes dedication and steady practice, not a handcrafted masterpiece of a guitar. A pawnshop special will serve just fine.

quite simply the greatest and most complete master of the classical guitar there has ever been.His technique and musicianship are utterly flawless.His recordings are utter perfection especially his 'Baroque Masterpieces' cd. I saw him in concert last year and it was just incredible to see someone with such a mastery and command of an instrument.Met him afterwards too , the nicest guy you would ever meet
