  • Hi, Christina. Do you have to wash a new retractable kabuki brush before using it?

  • @pnlu4e I would wash the retractable kabuki before using it, because it'll help clean the bacteria before you use it and to prevent shedding and odor.

  • @LovesTheWay2Go thank u!

  • my e.l.f. blending brush doesn't lok like that..

thanks for the review though,it's really helpful :)

  • Ahoj.Tak co jak se mas.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE eco tools!! they are so soft and sturdy, never shed! love them!

  • How often should you wash your brushes?

  • @ChelseaReads It depends how often you use your brushes. If you use your brushes daily, then I would recommend washing them every night. If you use your brushes often, then I would recommend once a week. (:

  • that eyeshadow looks great on you

  • best brush for blending love love love.....its from sonia kashuk domed eye shadow brush #20. Its the best blending brush ever and its only $10, so you can't beat that! I have the expensive brushes but nothing beats this brush!

  • @livsterr18 hey! I have a quick question..do you have to buy it online through the website, or is there a store where you can actually see the product before purchasing?

  • @ puffley : ur an idiot. did u go to first grade? cause we learned when a word starts with a vowel, you use AN not a. who's the idiot now? ha.

  • Right now at Big Lots they have the eye shadow brushes for 80 cents each!!! That's crazy! They are a brand I know drug stores cell, like Wal Mart, for about 2 or 3 dollars, which is still cheap but I mean they work very well for blending out corner colors and stuff, so go to Big Lots if you have it near you they have a bunch right now :)

  • I have ecotools and I love them! Very very soft indeed. :)

  • I have an essence of beauty set and while the small brushes are really good, I have problems with the larger blush and powder brush. The bristles fall out and I think they irritate my face.

  • you're AMAZING.

  • omg thank you sooo muchh! ive been looking for cheap brushes and now you helped me find themm! :D

  • and sigma

  • Thanks so much im going to get ecotools

  • I ike E.L.F brushes I have one and it's really great.

  • Thank you so much for informing me about EcoTools. I've been using their foundation brush for a few months and I recently purchased the Retractable Kabuki brush! I love it! It's very compact and covered so it's very sanitary in my little makeup bag. Thanks again!

  • I came upon ecotools some months back... I'm in love with my retractable kabuki brush! X)

  • so beautiful! i'm jealous, thanks for the video :D I got some wonderful Revlon makeup from GratisMakeupSamples, Revlon stuff too!

  • My favorite affordable brushes are the Eco tools, ELF Studio, and that's it. haha. I don't really like the ELF regular $1 line because I find the eyeshadow and the blending brush scratchy.. And the face brushes have horrible reviews so I have not tried those.

  • I just got ecotools today and i love it (:

  • LOVE LOVE ECOTOOLS [:

  • @itsjngo agreed. ecotools has the most amazing brushes.

  • @itsjngo LOVE ECOTOOLS!! so soft and they work really well take them everywhere

  • At Malaysia is very hard to buy this make up brushers, so do u have any way that we can buy those brushers? But must can convert to Ringgir Malaysia. TQ.

  • How do you store your brushes?

  • in a box. wtf else wud u store them n?

  • It is ignorant because you don't know that there is a proper way to store brushes. So hmm.... if you're going to speak for someone else, at least do yourself a favor and school yourself on the subject of how real make up artists care for their tools before clicking that "reply" button. I believe I've made my point. So stop commenting on my question.

  • You obviously know nothing about the professional world of Make up. So why even watch tutorials if you don't absorb anything. You're such a idiot. Do you not realize that the way you care for your brushes all factor into how long your brushes will last. Why would anyone throw a brush into a drawer or a box, especially when you start buying MAC brushes which cost an avg of 40 dollars per brush. But you're dumb. Why waste my time.

  • such an*

  • like a pencil holder or something like that

  • what ever happened to studio tools?

  • u should try the costco brush sets

  • i work at icing by claires and we constantly have makeup brushes for sale

  • This Was Sooo Much Help Thank Youuuu(:

  • Thank you for that tip about e.l.f website now I know where I am going to get all my makeup brushes. Thanks xteeener.

  • HAHA i was taking a long shot...

wonder why people are hands downing me?

  • i got the ecotools retractable kabuki and the essence of beauty smokey wide brush. If you want inexpensive and/or drugstore brushes GO GET THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love them.

  • Ecotools are great

  • eco tool brushes are okay, I dont really like the eyeshadow brush and crease brush because they seem so stiff and dont hold alot of eyeshadow. But I love the blush brush.

  • i use the eyeshadow brush as a concealer brush

  • thankks , that was really helpful !

    -xoxo

  • i just got these brushes and they are fucking amazing.

  • hey exteeener,

i'm just wondering wat do u use to store ur brushes? also, i'm not sure if u did a vdo on how to clean burshes? please let me know. =) thanks!

  • oh gosh, I LOVE ECOTOOLS!

its affordable, eco-friendly, well made, and very good.

  • i totally agree!!

not to mention they are amazingly soft!

    :D

  • i'm thinking of getting the Ecotools.

    are they really that good?

  • i mean, in my opinion, they are really good quality brushes. it won't hurt to try them. if you want, you could buy one brush, and if you like it, buy the set.

  • they're soft. i love the blush brush

it's so soft i just rub it on my face xD

  • Eco tools are great!!!! i got one a few days ago and fell i love!! i bought a set 2 days ago. it has a pouch, kabuki brush, blending brush, eyeshadow brush, and a blush brush!!! it was $14.00 cdn. at Wal mart!!

  • OMG, yes! If you're gonna try one brush from them, try the retractable powder brush. I have SO many brushes from different brands (low end to high end), and this one brush still remains the softest. You won't believe it until you get it. It's insanely soft. Even other brands with the same exact synthetic material doesn't feel as soft. It's strange but true.

  • love this video its great n helpful!

  • Thanks for introducing me to Sonia Kashuk and MUA :)

  • I have the essence of beauty double ended brushes from CVS, I love them!

  • i bought those and they really dont work for me!!!

  • so back about 2 years ago, i bought essence of beauty brushes, get this, they were in a package of like 7-10 brushes and it was on sale for a dollar at CVS...i feel like kicking myself in the butt for not buying all of them because i wasnt THAT into make up so i had like 3 brushes and was content, i bought two and gave one to my sister, over time i have lost all but two....how sad

    truestory.

  • aw! i've done things liek tht too! :)

  • what's better ? Eco Tools or Quo ? I don't know what to purchase :(

  • i havesome of both but i like eco tools more!! i find that they're softer!!

  • most are not even available in the UK pffff

  • I absolutely love the elf studio line! they are amazing! you should try them out :]

  • OMG! thank you so much!!!!! You had a CCO locator on here!! I never knew how to find one near me! thank u!!! whew. Ive been wondering about this for the longest time!

  • are sonia kashuk taklon/synthetic?

  • synthetic

  • i hate that the shipping cost so much for e.l.f why cant it just be only $1

  • if you spend over 20 or 25 dollars

enter 2ship in the little box on the bottom left(i think)

and you get 2 dollar shipping

  • For any Canadians ...

Quo brushes are the best to buy ,

they are somewhat expensive but not really , usually there 14.00 each

and you can but them at shopppers drug mart and i dunno where else

    hope i helped :)

  • Thank you for sharing brush information! it was very helpful. I've been looking for something like that. Probably going to try Ecotools and maybe a few more of Sonia Kashuk.

  • OMG! you should totally get EcoTools!!! I just received mine today and they're as soft as teddy bear softtoys fur! Extremely worth it, plus your helping the earth and EcoTools are a member of "1% for the planet".

  • Noooo! ur vid sold it to me!....until i realised they dont have "CCO" in the UK urrggh thankss for the tips thou! :)))

  • Great tips! Thanks again!

  • i was actually usin a camcorder with a flip screen and it was always awkward using that so i don't plan to use that as often anymore. i'm sorry if my wavering eyes annoyed you haha i'll work on that bad habit thanks

  • I love using paint brushes, but you need to go to an actual art store and buy like, sable brushes, or something softer than general store brushes, which are more expensive then general brushes, but buy the value packs, and its still cheaper than most makeup brushes, and made for many uses, so they wash better without shedding all their bristles like Ive seen some makeup brushes do when I've cleaned them.

  • thanx
