Your going to find that people who know the original are going to have nothing good to say about this version. Why? Because it's part of the new generation of dance music. Microwave music made for Itunes & Ipods. Is that a bad thing? I own the vinyl of this.  Worked into a DJ set it is pretty nice. But compared to the original in 1987? No contest.

Absolutely spot-on matey. This doesn't get anywhere. The original is almost hypnotic.

I tend to dislike most re-worked classics ~ and, God, there are some horrendous new versions of great OldSkool trax around !

I think it's ok to re-work lesser-known trax, but if it's a CLASSIC (as "CYP?") was) then leave it alone.
