@slynhyrpa the answers to all of the questions we have had so far, desmon hasn't really made us question much yet, and even some of the stuff we didn't know was answered by the game, like where he grew up and his link to the assassins etc. For the story to stay fresh they had to tie up some loose ends, and whilst revelations wasn't on the same level of say AC2, it was meant to show us how Ezio and Altairs story ends, whilst opening it up for Desmond to take centre stage

I love Assassin's Creed, such a creative and amazing game. The only thing that worries me is that it seems like they are pumping out games like Call of Duty in a sense, but as long as it's original and isn't just a half-assed product, I'll enjoy the games and add-on's.

There is AC1 with Altair, AC2 with a NEW ancestor (Ezio), AC: Brotherhood (still with Ezio), and AC: Revelations (finishing Ezio's and Altair's stories). AC: Brotherhood and Revelations are part of AC2. They are the same story, whereas Altair had his own story in AC1. So, AC3 will mark the beginning of a NEW ancestor's story.
