hold down then left or right when going to a diagonal path

also when going through horizontal or vertical paths,

then press left or right (horizontal) or up or down (vertical)

@Thewootman999 Heh, notice how we're constantly re-angling ourselves during the escape sequence? We ARE using down-left and down-right... the path is just angled wrong, so we have to correct it.
