The difference between the fighters stances and demeanor are startling. Louis had such grace.Max seemed stiff and self conscious.I notice these same general traits when looking at footage of WW2 American soldiers vs the Nazis.The Nazis were very ridged and stiff, you get the feeling they would march off a cliff if given the order, the Americans seemed relaxed,almost jovial and fully capable of thinking on their feet and for themselves.

I know Max hated the Nazis and was a good friend to Joe.
