well it's old fashioned but in the end everyone has to find their own delivery, their own style of playing. I don't do it, but thats cause we don't learn it her in switzerland anymore. but after all it's up to u and if ur able to lift the rock.
I think it's unnecessary u dont need to lift the rock to get big weight.
in the end do as you like it. only making the shot matters!! and ur skip will be happy if u place you draws an guards with or wihout lifting

To all my fellow curlers out there, whats your opinion on lifting the rock when ya throw? I'm 16 btw and play Lead (and on occasion second)
