thats weard .....there is a BIG defferance between wn and nz , air new zealand flies internationally..........thats weard....but atleast nz got tv's in the back of each seat,,almost all airlines renovating their cabins and installing in seat intertainment ,,,sothwest airlines is still sticked with the small aircrafts and thier old 1880's cabin..........think before you act!!!!!

Haha, let's be honest, everyone. Air New Zealand wins hands down! Not only based on the videos, but on the service and friendliness aswell. In terms of an advertising campaign, Air NZ's is spot on and really does reflect them as an airline. They're honest, they have nothing to hide, and they're not simply out to take your money. Southwest claims to be very passenger orientated - and I'm not doubting that they are - but Air NZ is all that and more!

I'm from NZ and everytime I fly within the U.S. I always fly Southwest. You guys have fun! You make the flights enjoyable and entertaining. I've had flight attendants sing, play games and get the passengers involved. I think some of the flight attendants here could learn a thing or two from Southwest -it doesn't hurt to smile once in a while and relax and have fun.

Sorry, Air NZ, but you definitely lose! I see your NZ shills in here claiming otherwise, but if you spend any time on Southwest, you'll quickly discover that they are the ONLY way to fly. Free snacks, free drinks, free checked bags, and an almost perfect on-time record. Then throw in a 99.99999% safety record (one accident at Midway), the BEST FA's, and behind-the-scenes knowledge of how exceptionally careful LUV is about maintenance, and Air NZ flops badly. Sorry.

Thats amazing. I've always wanted to be a flight attendant. And the airline I prefer to work for/ fly is Southwest. They might not have all the in flight entertainment of Delta or United, but their flight attendants are always happy along with the rest of Southwest's team members. Also your bags fly FREE with SWA. Thats pretty amazing, since Spirit charges $45 for your carry on items now. I <3 SWA

Guys, The reason you hate southwest is because well... You hate them! If they cant get enough passengers, they wont get enough money so the cant upgrade their planes. Also they have the cost of RUNNING the planes. Air New Zealand has that great attitude we all love which started them off. @airlinesss It is nice to fly in luxury especially for those big flights. Deltas good but air nz uses manmade fuel for the envirement, voted airline of the year and is as safe as quantas. They both had one crash. (Quantas 2 crashes that were engine faults in the fiftys.)
