I realized if you pick up the ring you fall through most of the time so, skip the ring for now, do the glitch, you should land out of bound's with out falling almost 100% of the time. then go around shoot the ring down then collect it if you want.

yea the samething happened to me...LoL...at one point it flashed as if everything were normal and the camera re-focused but he just kept falling after that...lol...is there something i'm doing wrong?

i did a glitch like this in the military base near the end of the game but i fell through the whole level and couldnt get back up lol
