  • This has worked or not! Stand by my ear...

  • beatrix kiddo

  • you will do much better in the kitchen.

  • @Megathrasher1975 Probably. If you're in the oven.

  • @IdleElectric I just gave her a compliment that's all. I bet she will do better in the kitchen.

  • lol, I was expecting some half assed attempt at the intro. This is a good start isn't it? At least you memorized it all already, I just wondered why you didn't practice it till you got it down completely and made all the notes ring out. Anyway good luck with it.

  • where is the heart in it?

  • come on girl be a little engertic

  • hey hey....nice...but try it on a nylon not on steel....to heavy...for you...you need strong Fingers or a good prepaired Guitar....with 09 Strings....but nice nice...big Brain....:-)

  • brilliant arrangement, truly

  • you need a classical guitar to play this piece it wont sound good on a steel string but you got the fingering and concept ok.

  • Keep working at it and you didn't do too terribly bad its just most people who criticize are douche bags who probably know nothing of guitar work that said they probably cant even tell you what a run is what a arpeggio is or even what an apoyando as opposed to an tirando, enough terminology why are there so many boorish snots out there so willing to come gate crashing on someone else, maybe its because they lack any real talent and are tehrefore extremely unhappy and unfulfilled.

  • YOU SUCK

  • I am a guitar teacher, and I give her credit for trying.

  • I enjoyed this. Very lovely to see aspiring Guitarists proud to show off their skills. I will say though, you need to practice slowly. But almost a year later I'm sure you have this down to a 'T' as they say. But you must remember, if you are struggling to play something then it is clear you are not ready for it - A simple fix is to just slow down the tempo hehe. Once it is committed to memory you will find that it flows out much more easily.

  • Nice ...

  • I actually have some tips that I think will help you out:

    1. Slow down and memorize the music. You're obviously talented at sight reading. But if you memorize the music, you will know it better and play it better.

    2. It's classical music. Classical guitars have nylon strings. These strings are much thinner and softer, thus easier to push down without muting. If you are going to use steel strings, go down to gauge .10(guessing you have .12 on now).

    3. Try to learn to bar your ring finger. :)

  • Ok so it wasn’t perfect, but it takes a hell of a lot of skill to even come close to playing that. I’d be surprised if anybody that gave a negative comment could even play zombie by the cranberrys. Keep up the good work!

  • Your guitar made me laugh a lot... hehe... not your playing, just some of the string sounds, I thought one was going to shoot off into my laptop screen :) I think if you were to kind of tell a story of what you have been doing for the last nine months while playing this piece would have been really cool :)

  • Good effort, but I think the problem is you're rushing too much and on an acoustic that's just making the chords harder to reach effectively. The song's sombre. Don't feel you need to rush it. It'll sound much better a little slower than it should be than it does a little faster than it should and with you missing notes.

  • I feel inspired to learn this, thank you

  • My ears---- It´s so painful :S

  • great that you've given this a good go - good on ya ! :)

  • I didn't know that Donna from That's 70's Show plays guitar

  • dont make excises as to why you wana perform your craft... your the one whos taking the risk, fuck everyone else

  • If anyone thinks playing classical songs on guitar is easy they can go F*** Themselves . these kind of songs require experience .

  • I thinks its good......Will you send me the tabs on that?

  • the song is very difficult to be played. she has an acustic guitar with the chords closer than the classical one so is more difficult.

I would like to see you playing this one. I bet she'll play better than you all

  • You've got the timing down well enough (recording quality doesn't do you justice) keep practicing :)

  • que bela bosta, treina + e posta um video deçente, terrivel!!!!! uma grande merda!

  • What is everyone's problem? She says at the start of the video "i forewarn that I'm not particularly good" so at that moment anyone who is stuck around to criticize had the option to click out of the video. I enjoy her guitar videos because she obviously genuinely enjoys playing and I am constantly hearing improvement. Playing stuff like this is how you challenge yourself and learn from mistakes. Props to the other musicians who offered constructive criticism :-)

  • Wow that was terrible. Thanks heaps ;)

  • @radstar3 oh you're very welcome, any time

  • yes, this is definitely a horrible attempt at a beautiful song... butchered. but half of you people commenting saying how bad it is should really activate spell check or something... jeez

  • It's bad, yes. But, a little practise (on left hand) an it would be better.

We aren't born "professionnal", we become...

  • @theplagueoflife ...yes, it's real, but why anyone post video on YT? Post when you play good...oh, yes, wev are freedommmmm!

  • @sdtn666 yes we are free ! and there are a lot of more badly video (like my own uploaded video :p ). I think that post our begin and have (intelligents) comments can be instructive...

  • im going to learn this for you and post a response :3

  • i wike you :3

  • I enjoyed this. Nice work.

  • Fail...speed,tecnic,guittar sound try one easy music

  • try a classical guitar but good anyway !

  • You seem highly intelligent.

  • You try with nylgut strings - they play effortlessly with much, much better sound.

for comparison you are kindly invited to our channel (guitar and theorbo with nylgut strings).

    kindest regards - S.

  • good good, some problems in the execution, but its good. Much better than I.

you're really good, keep training XX

    greeting from Brazil ;)

  • Can i give you a word of advice i learnt through years of piano and guitar playing. Don't ever learn something which is TOO hard for you yet. And if you want to do it, practice and practice till your hands don't fall, untill you reach pure perfection, ESPECIALLY if you are learning a classical piece, even more if it's a maestro come Beethoven, and a masterpiece like Moonlight Sonata. And most certainly don't post anything on youtube till youre ready, people can be cruel :) good effort though

  • i think this is moon DARK sonata

  • Good effort.

  • Mas practica y una guitarra con cuerdas de nylon y te saldrà bien, lo importante es que ya te la sabes, solo tienes que perfeccionarla y limpiarla....animo.....

  • @1251966LH and @NoddyGould even better Nylgut !!! they are playing effortlessly with much, much better sound.

    kindest regards - S.

  • The technique and speed at which you are able to play this is commendable. Few slight inconsistencies, but the skills are solid. In my honest opinion it could be greately improved if the guitar was re-fretted, since that was most likely the source of the problems. Other than that - good job, and my regards.

  • Nice! You should get yourself a classical guitar. Thats got to be torture on your right hand playing a piece that long? Good job on a steel string for sure! :D

  • Es un buen intento amiga, la guitarra es siempre práctica. Felicitaciones!

  • there isn't moon light sonata so bad as this

  • @boboindiana1 couldn't agree with you more dude. That being said, there isn't grammar so bad as this. If you feel like insulting, do it with literary style and flair, else you look like an idiot

  • @NoddyGould Could you please play something like Madame George? I think that would really suit your style and voice.

  • Lovely..

  • CD?

  • yo yo practise

btw ppl i made guitar pro tab of this i can send if wanna learn it

  • @33COOLMAN33 could you make tab for 3rd movement?

  • Impressive effort! To get this far meant you put in a LOT of hours.

  • Playing that on an acoustic guitar is pretty impressive! Your fingers must be as hard as steel! Keep it up!

  • Thats fingers needs stronger. but good, keep on going :)

  • Good work! I hope you haven't gave it up and pracised more. It's a hard sonata on piano too!

  • very nice, your guitar has a better sound then mine, i triedthe same this summermaybe you want to listen to iit, anyway i like your stile

  • sounds good julia :)
