Obviously theres certain biological similarities with Tegu's, Monitors and Lizards, simply at face value. But if you look at certain areas of their anatomy, you see why they come from a different family of animals.

Saying a komodo dragon looks like a lizard is like saying a crocodile looks like a crocodile skink. But I guarantee if you buy one instead of the other, your in for some trouble. People buy them thinking their lizards, and end up with something HUGE. : p

i was at a local pet store the other day getting a mouse for my snake and i couldnt help but look at the reptiles they had and they were all in good condition untill i saw these two tagus in the corner they were so skiny it was sick i couldnt believe it i this reminded me of u and ur time u went to the store and got the savanna monitor but im only 14 and my parents wont let me get any more animals even though i only have a snake and fish but i will hopefully be getting another snake soon
