I love how all the turtles symbolize a certain quality most people have or want. Raphael: Anger and Protectiveness of loved ones. Leonardo: Honor, Pride and Respect towards others. Donatello: Passiveness, Shyness and Kindness. Michelangelo: Light-Heartedness, Humor but also cares for his family/friends. And Splinter is just a really sweet protective father who looks after his kids. I Love this show, and how people can easily connect with the problems or situations the characters get into :) <3

@leon11146 haven't you ever touched a turtle, sweety? i've had pet reptiles all my life and volenteered with a few animal rescue places. turtles aren't really all that slimy. not even the aquatic types. they have sort of soft leathery skin like soft glove leather. the shells are kind of like bone or horn in texture. lizards have various pebbly/scaley textures though. the TMNT are Red Eared sliders. semi aquatics and have soft leathery skin and really neat markings too. very cool looking.

@leon11146 quiet wlcome, deary. i've had a box turtle as a pet. he's probably still gracing the pond at my gramma's old farm. i suggest 1 of them instead of a semi aquatic type. they're more work and a lot messier. see they have 'fixed' tongues and no saliva so they need water to eat and mak a MASSIVE mess (so i guess the TMNT's messy eating comes as a result of that? hehe) i have a cat and a gecko as pets now both are rescues. whatever pet you get make sure you do LOTS of research before hand.

Alot of people complain about Mikey being epic in this, but in the original comics, Mikey actually was the most skilled... Kind of like the Hulk, Raph was only reaaally good, when he was ANGRY!!! Leo, was the leader, just cause he was the most mature, and smart. Donnie was actually not a genius in the books, he was just the most peaceful. So yeah, Mikey actually was the most skilled of them all...

Well, Michelangelo had the most potential and natural talent as a ninja of all of the (even Leonardo), it's just his lifestyle acts as a sort of limiter to that. The advantage he had over Raphael is that he's just faster, more agile, and can turn an opponent's strength against him (in this case, taunting Raphael to make him clumsy). Look at the Big Brawl episodes later...
