I have one of these I bought in 1986 new. I lost some of the parts , aa couple of batteries but it still works and I collect cameras for the love of it. I would like to have another one if you wish to sell. I'll give fair value if you would consider selling it.
I have one of these I bought new in1986 I lost most of the the bateries but sill have the charger and a few more. Would you like to sell yours if so Im an hour fron LA and woulld give you fair money.Good Find.
None quite the 1st - there was a manual focus (no AF) version before this one. Great to see one in such excellent condition complete with all the kit. Think Sony peaked long ago, 1980's were the last years of Japan being the only country able to produce such kit.
This was my Parents' first videocamcorder and it is still alive :D. When I was about 11-12 years of age, I used it more often than my parents. I am 32 now. Especially the AC adapter, that was insertable just like the "battery", the separate RF modulator and replaceable microphone were really nice.
i have the carry case and everything, but some things are missing, like the strap, and the lens cover. the charger (or the batteries) dont work so i have to plug it in for it to work.
not too shabby! I have the first model, with Manual focus. It does the trick for many things and is better than alot of later models and I enjoy the picture quality. For my youtube videos, it works great!
WOW....I have the same camera too, and today still works awesomly fine, very good old Japanese product and Made in Japan, the poor camera has had sand, water, hits, crash, bum, pow, zaps! and a large etc but is work and in use today almost every day without problem....this camera is better than those little disposable cameras made in China or Indonesia in quality of materials and recording i love this camera...by the way, i almost fell of when i knew the year of fabric 1985! just like my age =O.

Same question. Just bought one for £20 MINT, wanted to know if it is possible to just plug it into my computer, via cable adapters or whatever.

@LiamsEpicLlama Obviously its not gonna have a USB port. You can just buy an external capture card and that will work
