what did you write it in? this is all perl based, so I'd be interested to know what code you were using. What do you use for your hardware? My setup is Insteon based.
Yeh my dad uses it quite extensivly, so he got a few emails asking for a lil bit of help. lol. I just did this trial with the Insteon starter pack from smarthome and one AP. Works good as a start point to learn the software

i use c++ for everything, and bluetooth for device interconnectivity. im working on a touchscreen wall panel too.
