  • AUDI 200 TURBO!!!

  • @rickrollhater611 papiamento

  • It sounds sooooo much like spanish but its not, what is it????

  • my god soo dangerous!

  • Some great skill by the pilot and bravery by the mechanic. Cool to see a early audi 5000 in action too.

  • Молодцы.

  • There are some twits on here who are so eager to show off their knowledge about Audi cars, they completely miss the point of this video..a hero,a great pilot, an excellent driver and.. did I mention a real hero? That mechanic, with the help of of two brilliant operators of an aircraft and an automobile made history here. I feel privileged to watch a once in a lifetime video like this, and kudos to the superb cameraman/woman, too.

  • Click on 1:17

  • Try this with an A380.

  • @czasamitrudno

    GREAT IDEA...ha-haaaaaa!!!!!!

  • hahaha papiamento echt un personi corsouw

  • that is some james bond shit right there

  • Audi FTW!

  • i nto para porno la para wtf ??

  • Audi saves the day, im proud to own one!

  • Oh yea, a sports car it's not, it only had about 160 hp. It did OK, but was no hot rod weighing over 3000 pounds with fuel and me.

  • Saved by a 1978 Audi 5000 turbo and a couple of dudes with no fear. Very cool!

  • Thats the first plane I flew when I was learning how to fly!

  • Great work!

  • nice sports car!

  • Nice very nice !!!

  • THIS IS SOME HOLLYWOOD SHIT

  • at 1:05 does he say "grabs a wheel"? XoD

  • super video s audi 100 typ 43 :-)

  • rofl thats a sports car back in the day? dam..

  • They got a brotha talkin foreign all up in this

  • AAAWEWWWWSAOOOOOMMMMEEEE!!!!

  • in 10 years of driving truck i have never seen this lol

  • Algo dice de un marica. Lo que sí es seguro es que el mecánico no es ningún marica.

  • The guy that pulled the gear down is a complete Muppet. Idiot. He risked all to save a little damage to a Piper Arrow. What an idiot. Pilot is a dip shit too for allowing this to be done. I had to land a Cardinal RG with the nose gear stuck. No big deal and very little damage to the plane.

  • Listening better he's using English terms way above normal, so maybe it's a mixed language.

  • nice bro nice!!

  • what language? i speak spanish and i undesrteand some but not all. and english too. andstill cant undearsteand.

  • @cangri48lbp

    It's Portuguese ya 'tard.

  • @Gian092 ohh . didnt knew portuguese had so much related words with spansih

  • @cangri48lbp

Well Spanish and Portuguese are sisters, the latter being the evolution of a Latin dialect spoken in Lusitania, now roughly Portugal. Anyway they share much in common.

  • @Gian092 lol yout an idiot this is not portugese

this is papiamento a slave language

a mix of english spanish portugese and dutch

  • @klote2314

lol you idiot, I said that in my last comment.

  • The guy who should have been interveiwed was the mechanic

  • i wanna see someone do that on a a380

  • LMAO!

  • sports car..haha..thats an old Audi 80..

  • I only understood the Pasahero and Komersyal and the Problema ( we also hve that word in the Philippines since most of our filipino words are from the spanish which we inherited from them when they invaded us for 333 years. :-|)

  • the fact that this is mostly in spanish makes it so much better

  • what language is he speaking?, I understood most of it since it was mostly spanish but it was different in some ways.

  • wowowee!! amazing

  • What language is this again? Seem like a mix of Portuguese, Galician and Spanish

  • @bittercottoncandy

its called papiamento a language slave language they speak this language in curacao aruba and some other little islands

practicly the dutch antilles just under neath cuba and above venezuela

its a mix of english dutch spanish and portugese

  • @klote2314 Very interesting. Thanks for the info mate.

  • STFU and speak english.

  • Reminds me of Chanel 9 Neus from the British Comedy show: The Fast Show

  • 0:45 GO AROUND GO AROUND!

  • what's the lenguage? qual es este idioma? qual e este idioma? qual'è questa lingua?

  • @RcWorld7 NICE1 LOL

  • I think the pilot was sited by the FAA. If he wasn't, someone else was for doing the same thing.

An airplane is never worth putting someone else at risk. Should have landed gear up and let the insurance carrier replace the engine, prop, paint etc.

If you think that's a bad thing for the insurance carrier, imagine if the person in the car was killed. That would cost allot more. Still a cool video.

  • 1:17

  • That was epic!

  • Awsomeee I never seen like Dix before Awsome

  • marica = gay (spanisch)

  • Looks to me like the guy got a little close to the prop at one point before he pulled the gear down. This could have gone real bad real quick. Pretty lucky stunt

  • Pretty crazy, I dont think its really smart to take that kind of a risk with the safety of the mechanic. Im not an expert on these matters but I would think landing the plane with one wheel up is a lot less risky than doing what they did.

  • @crockett616 It think it was heroic and it shows an example of a human risking himself for his fellow man. If noone is willing to take a risk for his fellow man then we`re all fucked.

  • Eddie Murph.

  • Wonder if he got a tip for saving the belly of an airplane.

  • You call that a Sports car !!!

  • @Bader88 yeah! those audis were pretty fast

  • Balls of steel

  • At first I thought the car will replace the right gear! But this variation is quite interresting! But I Think with a big Boeing or Airbus it isn´t so easy ;-)

  • LOL ora ma habrie video aki mi a tende papiamentu! min por a kere!

  • @PerryMerca

Perry ja bo sa anto..! Anto Papiamentu di bastante anja pasa! ;)

    Saludo!

  • Umnye blja

  • It's a Piper Arrow, PA-28R-201T (not a Baron, in that a baron has TWO engines) and it is the stupidest stunt on YouTube. The prop taking off that guys head would have generated a ton of hits. Metal is cheap, flesh isn't. DUMB

  • hahahahaha is it's works by a boeing 747-400? :-)!!!

  • Insanely dangerous. I woulda just landed the plane and taken the damage, lol.

  • Is that Magnum or David Hasselhoff coming into picture at 1:48?

  • Aircraft was a beechcraft baron 58

  • @mikeandikefly no, it's a Piper Turbo Arrow

  • watch my pilot training school video !

  • Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!

  • Genius thinking............pilot is awsome and mechanic either insane or just mega brave! Well done guys!

  • nice !

  • amazing initiative! well done that man

  • lol what if it hit his head XD

  • brave man pulling the wheel down. could have got his head mashed by props!

  • The car is an Audi 5000 Turbo. In Europe it was called Audi 200 5T and built 1980 to 1982 in the Audi plant Neckarsulm/Germany. It has a turbo charged inline five cylinder engine and was in the beginning 80's one of the fastest sedans with front wheel drive.

  • @Schlupp1971 That car is a 1978 or 79 Audi 5000 turbo. I had one. The 1980s changed to the new rounder body style and that body started the Quatro. Ah a legend was born! I think that is the best car i have ever owned, however the turbos were kind of short lived and spendy. Mine was the same color, electric blue. Ah the good old days when we could drive a little faster without going to jail and losing your license. People ask me if the 5 cylinder shook when it ran from being out of balance. :-)

  • @badmoonryzn There was no Audi 5000 Turbo available in 1978 and 1979, just the Audi 5000 and 5000 S. The Audi 5000 Turbo was launched in 1980, in the USA and the European version Audi 200 5T was already launched in September 1979 on European market. The rounder body style (Type 44) was introduced in August 1982 in Germany, some month later in 1983 in the USA. Very nice and good cars!

  • Who says a sunroof isn't a useful investment?

  • SPORTS CAR LOL

  • wooooow

  • Wheres the pissing sports car :)

  • it's the one under the plane

  • nice work guys....saved a lot of money on aircraft damage....

  • Hi..Hola, Obrigado, hum... halo...I 'm confused, I don't know, lol :)

I am not speaking nor spanish nor portuguese but I can hear roughly "ciendis e centa kilometra pa hora". So could you tell what was the car speed ? Thanx

  • Ha-haaaa....!!! That guy speaking is myself... :)

    The language i'am speaking is called Papiamento and is spoken on the Dutch Islands in the Caribbean; Aruba,Bonaire and Curacao. Me myself is a Curacao born citizen,living now in The Netherlands. The amount i'am saying there is 160 km per hour;

    "Shen'ti sesenta kilometer pa ora"

  • Shen'ti sesenta, i understand. I'm a Filipino, most words in our language comes from Spain.

  • @AlexAlberto Hey, my wife is Dutch, & I am American. Is there any work in Curacao ( : >) ?

  • @jpeditor

  • Audi 200

  • guess putting those lives in danger was worth the risk...guess crash landing it would of cost him more, lol

  • Hmm. Is that a Portugiese sportscar? LOL

    Funny vid thought.

  • the video was taken in Florida, so if anything, its an american sportscar.

  • Looks like an Audi, which pretty much makes it a German car.

    Saludos :)

  • Brave mechanic!! Bravo!

  • sports car? lol

  • I'm a native Portuguese speaker too. This "papiamento" is cool!! There're a lot of portuguese words, easy to understand. Amazing video!

  • Thank you Papito! And you must know that there are thousands of Portuguese citizens living in Curacao...! Maybe 90 percent of them born in Curacao from older former Portuguese imigrants. Thanks for your reaction. (Masha danki pa bo reaccion...hopi danki...masha bon...te despues.. :-)

  • HAHAHAHAH

  • Amazing video, but even more amazing is that language. I'm a native Portuguese speaker and I have some knowledge of English and Spanish, too, and I can understand about 80% of all the tv guy says!!!

  • Ha-haa...that "tv guy" was me some 33 years ago..(!) Well amigo; this is the language we speak on the Dutch Islands Aruba,Bonaire, and Curacao situated in the Caribbean. It's a mixture of Portuguese,Dutch,English, and Spanish. But our official language is Dutch. But i think Portuguese is more dominant in this language. Thanks for your comment and visit!

  • Thanks for more insight. But what is that language actually called? Is it still taught at school?

  • Ow...sorry i did not write that: It's called:

"PAPIAMENTO".. About education; yes...especially at basis education, but the principal education language is Dutch.

Most of us speak and understand four languages... English,Spanish,Dutch an Papiamento. And the guy's with higher education also German and French,so 6 languages...!

  • Amazing! Thanks a lot, Alex for all the explanation! =)

  • "we got a sports car" hahaha! Im sorry but thats not a sports car!

  • Its an awesome video. I saw it years back on MAV

  • Yeah this is real it was on Worlds Most Amazing Videos, the people bringing the lading gear down really take a risk, this plane was low on fuel lol, if it just dropped all of a sudden....bye bye people!

  • What language what that black guy speaking?

  • spanish i think

  • Negative.. it's called "PAPIAMENTO" a language people speak on the Dutch island at Curacao,Aruba, and Bonaire. It's a mixture of Spanish,Dutc,Portuguese and English...! But we all have the Dutch nationality, and Dutch is (still) the official language on these islands.

  • thats very cool. I didn´t know this kind of language exist. It is very great the mixture of portuguese/spanish and dutch.

here in brazil, we call our poor spanish as "portunhol"

  • Gracias / Thank you Stelios! You know something? I do not speak the Brazileiro language, but i understand it if people talk slow, or if i read it. Ther thing i like very much of Brazil is the Bossa Nova..!!! Do you know the Brazilean lady Eliane Elias? Wonderfull Bossanova/jazz pianist. And the most of all; the Carnival lady's...(ha-ha-haaa!!!) Thanks for your visit...gracias por su visita...(and now in Papiamento)

    Danki pa bo bishita..! :-)

  • I have a business running in California that does this for Concordes with failed landing gear.

  • All right chap...we're going to pull out those "Concordes" from the several Aviation Theme Park Museums around the word; and so to send you a couple of them t "exercise" your service...

  • sometimes I cant walk cause I cant unfold my leg then my girlfriend gets down on her knees and unfolds my legs so I can walk.

  • That must be a right bugger, if you absently fold your legs while 'on' the toilet.

  • What language was that? Que linguaje es ese?

  • We call this; "PAPIAMENTO" It's a local language my people living in Aruba,Curacao and Bonaire are speaking, although the "official" language there is Dutch. El idioma "PAPIAMENTO" es una mezcla de Portugues,Espanol,Ingles y Holandes...

  • That's amazing period. That mechanic has some serious guts to be that close to that plane and pull the landing gear out. Any idea how fast the plane was going?

  • He says 160km/h

  • Wow was that REAL??

    looks dangerous...

    LOL

  • YEP...real real!

  • Of course it's real. It IS also, freaking dangerous, fer sher.

  • Wise guys ofcourse :-)

  • Ha! I remember this at the time. A week or so afterwards Audi used it in their newspaper adverts (I think it was an Audi 90 quattro that they used).

  • safer to use a long stick with a hoock, and a helmet
