I cannot for the life of me understand linear recording. When you record the first loop, how do you keep copying that loop throught the entire song?

@TheReggiereg1 You can do that two ways in a snap .

1. Make the loop a midi clip and paste as many times as wish.

2.Make the loop a pattern and step or play ( 8800 only) the patterns in the quantity and order you wish

@NNITRED - I appreciate that and it helps. I am going to study this video more because Mike plays along with the pella but for a couple of bars but he does not explain how he played through the entire marvin gaye pella. I am using the mv 8000. Thanks again!
