Oh no, no, no, no, don't do this to me! Don't call it artistic, that's exactly what they wanted. A year ago I wrote in a blog, that one day someone would show up and call this train wreck of a plot arc a piece of art. Hush and don't ever mention that again or we'll see stuff like that in the dozens in the future. Suffering through crappy arcs like that is too much of a mission.

@Wolfloverclub Ok, what happpened was: Yuki's emotions forced her to have a malfunction. Deep down, She wanted everything to be normal, at the expense of Kyon, so she came out one night and altered the world so that the Data entity didn't exist, and neither did Haruhi's godlike powers. She was just normal, so that mean that ESPer boy didn't have any powers, and Haruhi had no reason to chase John Smith at North High, because he probably graduated by then. She and Esper boy went to another school.

I watched it!!!!!!!! I'm actually thought it was really good and I almost cried at the end, but I don't want to give it away. If any of you guys haven't seen it and would like to, go to One Piece of Bleach.com and and type in "The disappearance of haruhi suzumiya" and there would be the title in bold letters, click on it and it will give you the movie. warning though it was recorded from someone and it's not high quality but it's visable enough where it wont bother you and it's not that shakey.

the endless eight was the worst of the 2nd season arcs. they could of just shown only the 1st and 8th episode of that arc. But at least the arc in the mikaru movie was the best of them all!

That's what happens in alot of series of stories, they change their characters once in a while so its not so flat, changes it up a little. But in the end they go back to their origional state. sometimes. And I agree, Yuki is my favourite character, up their with Kyon.

To be fair the endless eight last about 30 pages in the book. I would say this qualifies as filler.

This is cool. I've heard that this part in the light novels was one of the best parts. By the way, I've watched season 2 and I think a lot of people didn't like it because 8 of the episodes were essentially exactly alike. The episodes aside from those one weren't that bad.
