Hay you can use the iron boots there! =p I just finished this area a while ago on Master Quest and you don't fight no Wolfos there. It's those Stalfos with the shield that does two hearts of damage-_-; I dunno, i'm loving the game so far despite the challenge lol.

Water Temple is going to be utter hell, which is ironic b/c you were just at the fire temple. Methinks this is where someone else's walkthrough would come in handy.
