No ha sido elegido el mejor del mundo por un margen grande, estan jugadores en el propio Barcelona que pudieran haber ganado varios de los premios que fueron otorgados a Messi. No es el mismo caso con jugadores como Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Zidane que en su momento eran los mejores del mundo y punto.

Past: Pele, Garrincha, Zico, Romario etc.
More recent: Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, etc.
Future Stars: Pato, Neymar, Philippe Coutinho, Ganso, etc.
