At least one person (me) doesn't think that it is a projector. So there goes your "all know its true" bs.

Its a projector, the line deformation that we see in the video is caused by the refresh rate of the bulb in the projector. sure it may be interactive but it simple to do, one camera projects, the other views the image projected, when an object comes in contact with it then it distorts. its the same technology used in the Microsoft Surface but not contained.
Ergo- Projector.

@GeneralChurch right, with the help of your comment I just realise what that other person really meant. I thought he meant that it was just a video of water movement that had nothing to do with the actual movement of the hand - so that it wasn't interactive at all. And that's what I disagreed with. Of course it's a projector, but it's not a video, and in this sense it isn't fake.
Also I wouldn't say that it's easy to do, at least if you have to write the algorithms on your own.

They actually have the Algorithms online to help build your own, I think they are from Sisco Communications, I could be wrong.
