The environmental fee is not a donation. its a governmental emissions charge. It is not something uhaul can remove from your bill. Trust me, as an employee, I would love to remove it. but its not possible.
On a side note, your equipment is checked in when you return it. if there is damage, you are charged. if your credit card wasn't charged, then you gave them a bad card, and you'll never be able to rent from uhaul again. go to budget, and pay twice as much. Glad you had your fun.

Be careful when using UHAUL I dropped off a vehicle and when they emailed me the receipt there was an Environmental Fee charged on my bill. I call UHAUL to ask what this fee is and they told me it was a donation! What donation I did not donate to anything.
