I just found this. Coded arms assault probably was abandoned because of how the game had problems such as a VERY low framerate drop at times. And Konami probably didn't want to/couldn't fix it because they wanted the game's physics and graphics to stay the way they were. They knew their game wouldn't be successful with such a low framerate. So they are probably working really hard to fix all the problems and complaints. Who knows, it might actually come out this year though.

i must say that coded arms may not be the best FPS (this is more relevant to the psp of course) but the concept of this digital world is very original and innovative.  i get tired of seeing the basic run-of-the-mill world war FPS's (WORLD WAR 2 IS DONE. NO MORE REHASHES, OK!), generic alien vs human fight for humanity games, futuristic battle in space, and the trying-to-stop-the-evil-worldw­ide-dictator from destroying the world games. the weapons are virtual and actually have extension files (1)
