I was 11 years old in 1967 when this song was popular, I absolutely loved it. It made me fall in love with the Cowsills and buy all their records. Their songs were a big part of my childhood. I believe a few of them are gone now, (is it Bill and Barry? not sure) But The Rain, the Park...will always be my favorite of their songs.
when my mom and dad were having marital problems .... we moved into a different house and had a huge bedroom upstairs where i had my drumset and stereo ... and would play this song over and over along with the doors, the beatles, the animals, dave clark five ... you name it for that time period ... helped me thru the days ....
@lexi3570 I hope everything worked out with your parents. That is always a difficult situation. But hey, gave you allot of time on the drums huh ? Hows that coming along ?
I play guitar & piano myself and hope to put out my 1st music video soon :)
I have been waiting 50 years now for a decade like the sixties. It has become apparent that it's not going to happen again in this life !! talent such as the Cowsills ...... very rare....
absolutely awesome song brings back memories, I listened to this on the radio as a child this is real music perfect use of harmony a classic in every sense of the word
Wow the 60's seems like such a beautiful era. All music was about peace, love and happiness. Those of you who grew up in that time period should consider yourselves very lucky because I can only dream of living during that generation.
Be 57 in July. God, it's nice to talk to someone from that time frame. My daughter just turned 30!! She's very hip to this music. But it's not the same as talking to someone who was 'truly' there. I remember when they were on the Ed Sullivan show!! And of course, I saw the Beatles there too! good times :)
Thank you for this! I'm 56 and woefully behind the times. Just got my FIRST computer and didn't even know that this kind of stuff was available. Youtube is a brand new experience for me. This took me back to times that I thought were forgotten. I was there and knew many girls "with flowers in there hair". A treat! Again, thank you :)
@MsSpawn1234 lolol No Thank you for the kind compliment :) I can't believe I'm going to be 57 this year. Time does fly by & when your single it goes by slow :( These were great times of Love & Happiness & Joy & I like to think that all though with all the injustice in the world that there is still hope :)
@WulfBand anjelmorg? what a beautiful name. Scandanavian? Must have been a great jewel in your life. I'm in New Hampshire, U.S. You? does the name mean angel something? Just a guess.
My kids(who are in their 20s now) use to ask me what was it like to be alive during the 1960s. Words just can't do justice; you just had to be there. This song takes me back-thank you for putting it up(and not remixing it).
This song is very uplifting , great to listen to , wonderful band . Note: I wish people wouldn't use profanity on U-Tube , it only shows that you are Low Class if you have you use those words to describe things
@flamingember71 Thank you for your comment. I totally agree with you about the profanity & it's not just youtube. I was out shopping last week and this lady about 40 years old was cussing her male companion out quite aggressively. I almost went over to her to say something but I let it go. I think it's part of the dumbing down of America that brings on this kind of behavior. Sad
I am 53, I heard this song as a young boy with a girl-friend. I loved the girl and think of her when I hear the song. It brings back wonderful memories and I wonder what happened to the girl I once loved.
I am 53, and just sent this link to a friend I've known since we were both 5. We used to sit in her bedroom and listen to the Cowsils. She was so in love with John.
Actually the way that the transparecy of the photos showing in such a way so you could see through them and still see the video beneath actually DID catch my attention yesterday when I was watching it. I was thinking at the time, 'wow, that's cool, that someone could do that'... So YES, I DID actually enjoy the blended images... Nice work indeed Wulf...
@WulfBand ,, thanks for this song always like this song,,,,,,,,I just send this video to a girl that I have never met ,though I seen her on T.V alot of times,I have had a crush on her for the longest ,,, Carla, miss you seeing you playing basketball on T.V.

Where is the REST OF THE BAND? It irritates me. Plus there is no decent representation of Cowsills on Youtube.

@ladbrady There was once great stuff on them on YT. Unfortunately, like life itself, things come and go without rhyme or reason.
