  • is the one guy playing ..an guitar case?

  • This may well be my favorite song of all time; I wish I had known Susan when she was little.

  • Wulfband, you´re awesome.

  • dumb and dummer

  • I was 11 years old in 1967 when this song was popular, I absolutely loved it. It made me fall in love with the Cowsills and buy all their records. Their songs were a big part of my childhood. I believe a few of them are gone now, (is it Bill and Barry? not sure) But The Rain, the Park...will always be my favorite of their songs.

  • when my mom and dad were having marital problems .... we moved into a different house and had a huge bedroom upstairs where i had my drumset and stereo ... and would play this song over and over along with the doors, the beatles, the animals, dave clark five ... you name it for that time period ... helped me thru the days ....

  • @lexi3570 I hope everything worked out with your parents. That is always a difficult situation. But hey, gave you allot of time on the drums huh ? Hows that coming along ?

I play guitar & piano myself and hope to put out my 1st music video soon :)

  • I've been looking for this song forever. I remember it well, but never knew the title of the song...Flashback city!

  • @AvirtualSwitzerland Good deal, I'm happy you found it :) Love your youtube icon :)

  • love is every where

  • I knew the flower girl in 1968, her name was Kathy O'Rourke. She was awesome.

  • I have been waiting 50 years now for a decade like the sixties. It has become apparent that it's not going to happen again in this life !! talent such as the Cowsills ...... very rare....

  • great song. wish i could see the bg pix more clearly

  • Have loved this song since it came out when I was a little boy!! Nice touch you've added to video :)

  • One of the most GROOVY songs EVER!! Reminds me of being a "flower child" in the 60's. This has always been one of my favorite songs.

  • @daidycat1 Thank you, what an AWESOME comment :) [iminent=h7zWzlR59l2] [iminent=8VcgzlR59l2]

  • I haven't heard this song in so long!! I love it, it's always been one of my favorites - thank you for posting! :D

  • I love the flower girl.

  • thanks to dumb and dumber I heard this song and for the longest time thought it was a beach boy song lmao

  • The song brings back the innocence of my youth

  • YEA ITS ALL GOOD . BUT WHERE ARE THEY NOW

  • @50starbaby John Cowsill plays with the Beach Boys & is married to Vicky Peterson of The Bangles.

  • love it !! thanks for sharing

  • love it, although im expecting Rod Serling to step out of the shadows.

    Twilight Zone for sure!

  • a lonely night. Had to come back here. Thank you that there's a Here, here!!

  • Wow the 60's seems like such a beautiful era. All music was about peace, love and happiness. Those of you who grew up in that time period should consider yourselves very lucky because I can only dream of living during that generation.

  • @Nirvana32058 I am a child of the 60's and couldn't agree more. Though it wasn't a perfect time, it was a 'ell of a lot better than these days are.

  • Be 57 in July. God, it's nice to talk to someone from that time frame. My daughter just turned 30!! She's very hip to this music. But it's not the same as talking to someone who was 'truly' there. I remember when they were on the Ed Sullivan show!! And of course, I saw the Beatles there too! good times :)

  • Thank you for this! I'm 56 and woefully behind the times. Just got my FIRST computer and didn't even know that this kind of stuff was available. Youtube is a brand new experience for me. This took me back to times that I thought were forgotten. I was there and knew many girls "with flowers in there hair". A treat! Again, thank you :)

  • @MsSpawn1234 lolol No Thank you for the kind compliment :) I can't believe I'm going to be 57 this year. Time does fly by & when your single it goes by slow :( These were great times of Love & Happiness & Joy & I like to think that all though with all the injustice in the world that there is still hope :)

  • @WulfBand anjelmorg? what a beautiful name. Scandanavian? Must have been a great jewel in your life. I'm in New Hampshire, U.S. You? does the name mean angel something? Just a guess.

  • @MsSpawn1234 Welcome to youtube - it is indeed a fabulous site. Just think of an old favourite tune from way back and you'll probably find it here.

  • @MsSpawn1234 :-) welcome to the Net (internet) and my your searches be fruitful. :-)

  • This whole family needs dental work

  • CLASSIC SONG

  • My kids(who are in their 20s now) use to ask me what was it like to be alive during the 1960s. Words just can't do justice; you just had to be there. This song takes me back-thank you for putting it up(and not remixing it).

  • @jolinar541 Your Welcome :) Thank You for your Comment :)

  • @jolinar541 meh, 70s looked better

  • Where is the REST OF THE BAND? It irritates me. Plus there is no decent representation of Cowsills on Youtube.

  • @ladbrady There was once great stuff on them on YT. Unfortunately, like life itself, things come and go without rhyme or reason.

  • This song is very uplifting , great to listen to , wonderful band . Note: I wish people wouldn't use profanity on U-Tube , it only shows that you are Low Class if you have you use those words to describe things

  • @flamingember71 Thank you for your comment. I totally agree with you about the profanity & it's not just youtube. I was out shopping last week and this lady about 40 years old was cussing her male companion out quite aggressively. I almost went over to her to say something but I let it go. I think it's part of the dumbing down of America that brings on this kind of behavior. Sad

  • @flamingember71 PS: I removed that comment of the profanity. Thanks

  • I am 53, I heard this song as a young boy with a girl-friend. I loved the girl and think of her when I hear the song. It brings back wonderful memories and I wonder what happened to the girl I once loved.

  • 2 bad barry is dead now.

  • I just love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am 53, and just sent this link to a friend I've known since we were both 5. We used to sit in her bedroom and listen to the Cowsils. She was so in love with John.

A great song, and it brings back fond memories.

  • @9misuraco6

    Очень красиво сделано!

    Классная песня, классная музыка!!!!!!!!111

  • @9misuraco6 And kids read these posts, so please keep this in mind next time you feel the need to use profanity. Thanks.

  • So long America, it was great to have known you once!

  • great song...when i was a little baby, this song shock me because r their beauty!!!
